The Colgate SlimSoft Party at Skyve Bistro was a blast! Many readers joined us for this event and we had so much fun! Besides yummy finger food and great company, we also get to learn more about the Colgate SlimSoft – a new toothbrush which boasts 0.01mm super slim tip bristles; and useful dental care tips.

Read on to find out what we did at the party!
We started by playing Bingo – the Colgate version. In place of numbers, there were lines like ‘I have a sweet tooth’, ‘I have a sensitive teeth’, and ‘I am a food blogger’ on the ticket. As you can imagine, I was very popular as I matched many requirements; everyone was asking me to sign so that they could ‘bingo’.
Throughout the party, I had the chance to talk with readers, and I found out that many people are not aware that a hard toothbrush is actually not good for the teeth.
Brushing harder is not necessarily better. What is important is using the right toothbrush and brushing the right way. That’s why we are all here to learn more about Colgate SlimSoft.

Here are some oral care fun facts:
Bacteria come back the minute after brushing. It forms a sticky film over your teeth: plaque. If this is not removed constantly, plaque may harden and form tartar. That’s why you need a toothpaste to provide round-the-clock protection.
Rinsing is the best way to bring long lasting protection into places your toothbrush may not reach. Moreover, it helps fight bad breath and freshens up your mouth.
80% of bacteria in your mouth are not on teeth! They also accumulate on cheeks, tongue and between gums and teeth. For a healthier whole mouth clean, you need a toothbrush that can reach these areas.
Always keep your toothbrush at least six feet away from the toilet. When the toilet is flushed, airborne particles can travel up to six feet.

Truffle fries served in dim sum basket, deep-fried chicken wings, canepes, cupcakes, lemon meringue tarts, and brownies.

With the bloggers.

The good people at Colgate-Palmolive kindly prepared nice door gifts for everyone.

And hampers for the bloggers! Initially I thought that the Colgate hampers were for the readers, and then I got a pleasant surprise when they presented us with the lovely gifts.

Thank you Colgate! Now that I have enough dental products to last me for the whole year, I don’t have any excuse for not taking good care of my teeth. Speaking of which, you should check out my post on 5 important Oral Hygiene Tips if you haven’t read it.
