Cluny Food Court is the first-ever food court by Les Amis Group and there are 6 different concepts including Mui Kee Express, Laifaba Express, Piccante Pronto, S’MAO Barbecue, Project Penyek by Ansar and Cluny Drinks Stall.

Located at 1J Cluny Road (near to Raffles Building at Nassim Gate entrance), it will offer all-day casual dining options for visitors to Singapore Botanic Gardens.

Some of the highlights at this atas food court include Laifaba’s signature Charcoal Roasted Bu Jian Tian Wanton Noodles (S$8), Piccante Pronto’s Margherita Pizza (S$12.50 for a 9″ pizza), Mui Kee Express’s famous Congee (S$7.80), S’MAO Beef Burger (S$12), and Project Penyek by Ansar’s Nasi Ayam Penyet (S$6.50).

To celebrate its opening, Cluny Drinks Stall is offering S$1 deals from 01 to 07 November 2021.

Prairie by Craftsmen is a new cafe & restaurant at Cluny Court near Botanic Gardens which has an outdoor alfresco dine-in concept, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Opened by Craftsmen Specialty Coffee, the new concept took over the former premise of Bar Bar Black Sheep at Cluny Court and they had a soft launch on 20 Jan 2021.

Prairie by Craftsmen has a rather extensive menu. There is a selection of breakfast options as well as pastas and mains including Duck Confit, Ribeye Steak and Fish & Chips.

If you are heading over to Prairie by Craftsmen in the afternoon, do note that the kitchen will be closed from 3pm to 5pm, with the last order for lunch at 2.30pm. In that period of time, drink, pastry and cake will still be available for order. Their dinner service will resume at 5pm.

A new addition to the trove of cafés and restaurants nearby the Botanic Gardens is Elixir Boutique Roasters. This bean-to-bar café doesn’t reveal its exact location in Serene Centre and encourages you to hunt them down instead. But lucky for you, we’ve hunted it down for you!

Located at the street level of Serene Centre, the café is so nondescript—dimly lit and no signboard—you’ll probably miss it if you’re weren’t looking for it. Elixir Boutique Roasters takes over the premise of Sugarhaus and shares the same space as Fat Belly which operates at night. Still in their opening phase, coffees here are currently pay as you wish.

The Single Origin Guatemalan White (3oz) was an enjoyable cuppa to start off our day. Well-bodied a gentle acidity, it had a pleasant mouthfeel with some fruity notes.

We also got a Blend White (3oz) which really awakened our senses the moment we had a taste of it. Definitely for the real coffee addicts, this kick of caffeine featured a rich blend of Brazilian and Ethiopian coffee beans. With a mild chocolate flavour, this bold cuppa left a dry and bitter aftertaste.

While coffee options are aplenty around Botanic Gardens, Elixir Boutique Roasters is one place worth adding to your list!
