A bistro concept by Awfully Chocolate, it is the only store that is currently selling Awfully Chocolate cakes, as most of their outlets had to close down due to the new circuit breaker measures. Their event spaces can be rented out at S$300/hour between 10am to 7pm, or S$500/hour between 7pm to 11pm. Exclusive use of their events room can be booked at a minimum spend (from S$3000++) which includes the cost of a buffet package (S$40++/S$60++/S$80++ per pax) as well as drinks. Their plug-and-play sound system is free for use but their projector and screen is an extra S$50 and you can use two of their wireless microphones for another S$100.

Holey Moley Golf Club is a putt above the rest. It’s a cool hub that has a cocktail bar, restaurant, and mini-golf course all rolled into one venue.

PLATFORM 1094

With a sirius-ly magical Harry Potter theme, Platform 1094 comes closest to letting you host your celebration in Hogwarts.

Their entire space can sit up to 50 but a shared space can take up to 30. A semi-exclusive party can go up to S$49++ per pax for a set menu, but a closed-door buffet event starts from $1900++. Choose a time block from 11am to 2pm, 3pm to 6pm, and 6:30pm to 9:30pm and inform the restaurant at least two weeks in advance. PRIVÉ CAFÉ

For a getaway from the city, Privé Café carries an air of luxury with posh yachts docked at the bay.

Only on weekends do they require a minimum spend (S$50++ per person) and they take up to 30 guests for a time block of two hours. Party food is catered from their a la carte menu. Bring your own decorations but skip the balloons because that can be catered for. No additional facilities like sound and a projector can be provided due to space constraints though.

PS. Café’s outlet at Harding Road is set in a lush green garden setting, like a tropical oasis untouched by the concrete jungle that is Singapore. Its gorgeous glass-to-ceiling windows lets natural sunlight flood into this secret escape.

THE REFINERY

With wide spaces, impossibly high ceilings, and white walls, The Refinery is an alluring hipster yakitori joint with a cocktail bar on its second level that’s cheekily named Little Bastard.

Wheeler’s Yard is a massive industrial warehouse of a café cum bicycle workshop where coffee, food, and all things vintage meet.
