Aston Express: Ride (eat) on the express

I read on the Sunday Times that Fish & Co is coming out with Fish & Co Express, and I must admit the revelation of the news hit me. Much as I don’t like Fish & Co (too commercialise), they are still a restaurant to me. But with the idea of having fast-food associating together with them, I will definitely think twice before dining there again. While it’s good for businesses to diversify, it can be a double-edge sword if not handle properly.

Bakerzin: Cakes & Desserts Fiesta

It’s all about you. It’s all about you baby. Yesterday you asked me something I thought you knew. So I told you with a smile, ‘It’s all about you‘. Say ‘if you made my life worthwhile it’s all about you’. It’s all about the company, it’s all about the cakes, it’s all about the laughter, it’s all about the fun, it’s all about the sugar-rush, from the desserts.

All of ladyironchef 2008

I had this idea last year to do a summary of the places I’ve been to. But the list was too short and i didn’t really went to a lot of places so it had to wait until now. November monthly updates

To all share-readers of ladyironchef

I have updated the list of restaurants that I’m interested in, and also included the links of the places that i have been to for the month of November. You can view it by clicking on “Gourmet Roll” tab at the top of the page!

It is very useful to click on this to see the list of restaurants and eateries i’ve written reviews on, especially so if you just read LIC. I think even for my long-time readers, it’s difficult to catch up when i’m in a posting frenzy. Hope it helps!

LIC food outings had went smoothly, with a dessert tasting at Obolo Patisserie, and our first saturday lunch at Persimmon last week. We also had an impromptu dessert outing, where the few of us just went down to Nectarie Patisserie and enjoyed an afternoon of fun! There will be more impromptu outings coming up, since it’s easier to go in a small group, and the planning time is less. Nonetheless, my official LIC food outing will continue in Jan, so do join us if you’ve missed our past outings!

Pineapple tart: Calm & Peace

With the world in it’s current chaotic state, the financial crisis which is turning the world around, the Mumbai terrorists attack, the airport saga in Bangkok, who knows what just might happen next. Banks who are supposed to know their stuff, suddenly appeared, like the amateur on the street, not knowing what they are really selling.
