Truth to be told, the first thing we do when we visit any major city is to figure out where the best coffee places are. For very coffee-centric cities, it would be an easy task. Just take a stroll down the streets and you will easily find many cafes or coffee booths.

As avid coffee drinkers, we must say that a city with a strong coffee culture definitely entices a second visit—or third, fourth etc. There is just something about having coffee from different places around the world; it always tastes and feels different.

#1 AUCKLAND

Have you heard of Soda Syrup Coffee? It is the unique selling point of Coffee Supreme in Auckland. What it is basically is a blend of brewed coffee mixed in with some soda syrup. We bet you haven’t heard of this cool creation!

To us, good coffee is essential in a bustling city, especially somewhere like Hong Kong, where everything and everyone moves at a fast pace. We have gushed about The Coffee Academics previously, Hong Kong’s very own brand of top-notch coffee and is now in Singapore too.

However, Hong Kong also has many other great coffee houses such as Elephant Grounds and Craft Coffee Roaster. It might not be obvious to the world, but Hong Kong’s coffee culture has its own one-of-a-kind scene that any coffee addict should explore at least once.
