Opened by Chef Raymond Tan—the owner of high-end sushi restaurant, Hiyru—Shinsho Ramen is a new ramen eatery at Singpost Centre. Originating from Malaysia, Shinsho Ramen specialises in chicken paitan (white soup) ramen.

Shinsho’s paitan ramen is made from boiling and simmering a large amount of whole chicken, pork bones, chicken legs, and several kinds of vegetables over more than 8 hours. The result? A creamy, collagen-rich consistency with deep, savoury flavours.

There are 8 ramen on Shinsho Ramen’s menu:

Aged Soy Sauce Ramen (S$14.90)

Black Garlic Ramen (S$15.90)

Spicy Red Miso Ramen (S$16.90)

Special Black Truffle Flavour Ramen (S$17.90)

Sakura Ebi & Chashu Curry Tsukemen (S$17.90)

Pork Ribs Teriyaki Ramen (S$29)

Half Rock Lobster Ramen (S$48)

Kuroge Wagyu Ramen (S$54)

For delivery, you can opt for Shinsho Ramen’s raw noodle pack and cook the ramen yourself. The ramen ingredients, noodles and paitan soup broth will be packed separately and all you have to do is to cook the noodles in boiling water and heat up the soup broth which comes in a vacuum-packed bag. It’s a great way to enjoy piping hot ramen at the comfort of your place.

There are also premium ramen options including Half Rock Lobster Ramen and Kuroge Wagyu Ramen.

Apart from ramen, you can also choose from a selection of sides such as Fried Chicken Skin with Spicy Aioli, Homemade Wagyu Gzoya (S$12.40 for 4 pcs) and Roasted Pork Belly Bun (S$6.20).

We absolutely loved the spicy aioli dip which came with the fried chicken skin.

While we didn’t quite like the roasted pork belly which was too lean and dry, we thoroughly enjoyed the Homemade Wagyu Gzoya.

Order Shinsho Ramen from their website—http://order.tabsquare.ai/ShinshoRamen.

Islandwide delivery at only S$4 per trip with a minimum order of S$25.

Free delivery for orders S$100 and above.

Hanabi festivals (or fireworks festivals) are integral to Japanese summers. This long-standing tradition is held practically in Japan every weekend for a few months each year country-wide. In addition to the fireworks show, locals can enjoy a selection of Japanese snacks and drinks that many stalls known as Yatai offer.

It’s no wonder locals look forward to this breathtaking spectacle every year! Here in Singapore’s SingPost Centre, we have our own Hanabi Food Festival too; you’ll definitely be able to experience the summer vibes and Yatai food as if you were in Japan.

From 06 to 18 June 2019, experience the Hanabi Food Festival by Isetan at SingPost Centre Main Atrium Level 1 from 11 am to 9 pm daily. Here are some highlights to look out for. Itadakimasu!

From sweet to savoury, there’s something for everything at the Hanabi Food Festival, so please go with empty tummies!

Choose from the mouth-watering Wagyu Don to the delectable Takoyaki with generous chunks of octopus.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

Then, there is the Frozen Chocolate version—which is also the most popular one. This slightly unconventional version introduces HERSHEY’s dark semi-sweet baking chocolate chips in the mix. The end result is a decadent Original Cake that brims with chocolatey goodness.

Come 16 December 2017, Original Cake opens its 2nd outlet at SingPost Centre and if you are thinking of missing the opening; think again.

They are giving out FIVE HUNDRED FREE ORIGINAL CAKES. If you are lucky enough to be the first 500 shoppers, you will be able to walk away with a portion of freshly baked Original Cake completely free of charge.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>//

Otherwise, if you are next in line and are the 501st to 800th shoppers, you are still in for a treat. The Original Cake will be yours at only S$2 per portion (limited to one cake per shopper). This is still an ultra sweet deal and is every reason for you to join Original Cake at their second outlet opening.

The grand opening time is 10:30am. We will see you there!
