Thrive – New Cafe In Upper Thomson With Acai Bowls & Boho-Chic Interior Goals

Thrive Upper Thomson

Sealing its status as one of the trendiest and healthiest icy treats to have among the health geeks and the hipsters here in sunny Singapore, Acai bowls (pronounced ah-sai-yee) is one of those superfoods that can both perk you up yet look phenomenal in photos.

New to Upper Thomson Road’s cluster of vibrant cafes and eateries is Thrive, a new boho-themed cafe that specialises in artisanal coffee, loaded healthy toasts and acai bowls—or should we say cups. They are a joint collaboration between Boxgreen and An Acai Affair and the very first one to set up shop.

Thriving on all things health-related from organic dried fruit and seeds to even coconut water-based beverages, this new cafe is one that you should definitely pay a visit—whether it’s for a delicious superfood snack or a hit of good vibes.

Singapore Food Festival 2018 Is Back From 13 to 29 July 2018 – Here’s What To Expect

Singapore Food Festival Collage

The Singapore Food Festival (SFF) is making its annual return once again from 13 to 29 July 2018, with a sumptuous medley of over 20 gastronomic experiences featuring both traditional and contemporary Singaporean flavours.

In conjunction with the event’s 25th anniversary, there will be a series of culinary offerings that are charmingly whimsical, inventive and yet familiar, as the festival continues to stay true to its roots by shining the spotlight on authentic local flavours and culinary talents taking centre stage during this festival. Guiding this year’s lineup of activities are four multi-faceted pillars—Modernity, Culture, Art and Tradition–that exemplify the wide-ranging events making up the festival.

Themed ‘Savour Singapore In Every Bite’, the festival aims to present Singapore’s rich culture and history through diverse, creative gastronomic experiences such as hands-on workshops, cooking demos and theatrical experiences—with an array of sumptuous local food at the centre of it all.

Taking place at various locations across Singapore from 13 to 29 July 2018, you can be part of all that feasting and the exciting programme too — all in the name of honouring and celebrating Singapore’s generations of food heritage and talents.
