Budae Jjigae is our all-time favourite comfort food! The one-pot goodness can be easily prepped with the simplest of ingredients. The key is getting the soup right, and the traditional way may take quite a bit of effort, but the cheat code is using a good brand of instant noodles.

We used Nongshim Ramyun Korean Budae Jjigae as our base and it is the best version we can find so far! We made our army stew with Lotte Premium Luncheon Meat, Gourmet White Button Mushrooms, The Silly Greens Oyster Mushrooms, and Tradition Shredded Mozzarella Cheese.

ABALONE CHICKEN NOODLES

We never thought chicken instant noodles could taste this good until we tried A1 Abalone Noodle on pandamart! It may be on the pricier side but it is totally worth it. The soup is super fragrant, and it comes with real baby abalones.

We amped it up with Hego Chicken Drumettes and The Silly Greens Baby Kailan. So hearty, and our tummies were warm and happy after the elevated bowl of chicken noodles soup.

THAI TOMYUM SEAFOOD NOODLES

How to say no to a bowl of spicy tomyum noodles?

We used the Myojo Instant Noodles Thai Tom Yum to create an easy bowl of happiness, made better with Serve Vannamei Peeled Prawns, BoBo Big Flat Fishcake and The Silly Greens Romaine Lettuce.

HK-STYLE GONG ZAI MIN

To satisfy our cravings for Hong Kong-style gong zai min in Singapore, we will always turn to NISSIN’s Chu Qian Yi Ding instant noodles – also readily available on pandamart. NISSIN’s Chu Qian Yi Ding comes in several variations.

The one we like is the Sesame Oil flavour because it comes with an aromatic sesame oil flavour and it is the closest to what you can get in Hong Kong. JAPANESE KYUSHU RAMEN
