Being more than just a national dish and a bowl of noodle soup, Pho carries the tradition and history of Vietnam since the 19th century. Pho has since gone through a series of modification as the years go by, but it remains a well-loved dish by many.

Amongst the many food options in Somerset, we spotted this Que in TripleOne Somerset that serves Pho, Banh Mi, Bun Cha and other Vietnamese dishes. The menu is relatively affordable with nothing over S$10.90.

Aside from the usual chains you see in town, maybe this could be a new choice for you to savour!

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

Our Beef Pho (S$10.90) came served in a huge bowl; plus points for big portions! We first tried the broth on its own without adding any extra condiments and thought it was too light. Masterchef us started to add various sauces and toppings that were available at the counter in using our “agaration” to create our work of art.

We threw in some hoisin sauce, fish sauce, sriracha sauce, black pepper, two small limes (make do with just one if you don’t like it too sour) and some beansprouts. The flavours were immediately enhanced and the broth came to life.

Out of the few ingredients in the pho, we were bowled over by the beef balls that came with a chewy consistency and a pleasant beefy fragrance.

If pho is not your thing, here’s a rice option. As one of the highlights on their menu, the Grilled Pork Rice (S$8.90) comes with a fried spring roll. It was covered in a sweet sauce, similar to teriyaki or Thai pork skewers, moo ping, but with a firmer texture. The nuts and shallots sprinkled on it added some crunch and a nutty aroma to it.

The lady boss shared that she uses pork collar as it contains less fat but still has a good bite to it. Personally, we thought that a little more fat would have done this dish more justice with a more tender bite and fat-rendered goodness, possibly by using pork belly.

A dipping sauce made with fish sauce, vinegar and sugar that tasted similar to achar was served on the side, and it blended well together with the pork.

This food stall is a one-man show by this Vietnamese lady boss and was previously located at Toa Payoh before shifting here. She prepares everything on her own and we could feel her sincerity in cooking while tasting the food. Her friendliness and hospitality made the dining experience at Que even warmer than the bowl of noodles we had.

Opening at the start of August is local coffee roaster, Quarter Life Coffee. Having been roasting coffee beans for close to two years, they have finally set up a physical storefront for their coffee in Deck at Prinsep!

This quaint and cosy coffee place is tucked away in the streets of the busy Bras Basah neighbourhood, near to schools such as Lasalle, SMU and Nafa. Serving delicious cups of single-origin coffee and cold brews, this is definitely one coffee shop you should visit when you’re in town!

This small container-based cafe is situated in Deck, a modern art space. For those who are not familiar with the Deck, it’s near to Lasalle. So keep a lookout for the big “DECK” scrawled onto a stacked container tower!

The space may be tiny, but it holds an unforgettable rustic charm. We could imagine ourselves having a cup of coffee with a book in hand, spending the day here relaxing and forgetting about the world for a while.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

Besides making it easier than ever to reserve a table at your favourite restaurants, diners can benefit from loyalty points, cash-back rewards, special offers and the ability to share their dining experiences with other Quandoo users.

Listing over 1200 restaurants for you to choose from in Singapore alone, there is no reason why dining out should be a hassle nor is it a challenge anymore. There will always be restaurants for you to check out!

QUANDOO Q PLATE CONTEST DETAILS

As we mentioned, the Quandoo Q Plate Contest will be held over a 3-month period (August to October 2017) with 3 winners selected a month. Each month, 1 lucky person will walk away with a 4D3N holiday for 2 pax worth S$1,500 to either Hong Kong or Bali and the other 2 will receive S$150 in cash-back rewards.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

Winners will be drawn from each specific month’s entries alone and they will be tracked via the #QuandooMoment hashtag. Feel free to submit multiple entries to increase your chances of winning but do note that this contest is only open to local participants.

To take part in this contest and be that much closer to winning a holiday or some money, simply follow these few easy steps:

Place your cutlery in a Q shape on your empty plate and snap a photo of it.

Ensure that your Instagram account is public.

Upload your picture to Instagram with the following: Hashtag #QuandooMoment, tag @quandoo_sg and tag the restaurant or restaurant location.

To get you started, here are 4 restaurants in partnership with Quandoo that you can consider dining at and having your first (or first three) photos submitted.

Quince is a beautiful lifestyle cafe in Canggu, Bali that is major #interiorgoals.

When at Quince, there is one item you must try and that is their Avocado Toast (RP70,000/ S$7).

You get a generous portion of herb and garlic smashed avocado on multigrain toast with boiled eggs. It is lastly topped off with black and white sesame seeds, sumac with feta cheese and a handful of watercress.

Super healthy, yet it does not compromise on taste!

With daily fresh imports of wild-caught seafood and fish from different parts of the world, Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro is our go-to place for seafood and late night nibbles. The restaurant has recently introduced Lobster Roll (S$49) on the menu. Its rendition comes with a whole live Boston lobster (600g of meat) in a buttered roll, homemade chili and kaffir lime aioli, and super addictive truffle shoestring fries.

Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro takes its seafood seriously, and boy are we glad that there is a new option when we are craving for lobster rolls in Singapore. From what we’ve heard, they are currently working on other variations like Seafood Roll and Shrimp Roll; we definitely hope to try them soon!

While Melody and I don’t have the habit of eating late at night, there are times when we want a nice spot to have supper with friends and hangout till midnight. Most kitchens only operate till 10pm, and more often than not, they only serve a limited menu of finger food and drinks after that. Which is why we are happy to let you in on a little secret.

Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro, one of our go-to places for fresh and good quality seafood, opens till when the owls come out to play, and they have a late night nibbles menu which not only features your usual snacks, but also a pretty comprehensive selection of appetisers and mains.

Regulars at Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro will be thrilled to know that the signature Chilli Crab Linguine (S$28) is available on the late night menu. Other supper options include Tiger Beer Battered Halibut (S$26), Tuna Tataki (S$19), and Homemade Pumpkin Gnocchi (S$25). And if you want to do a little guilt-free indulging, there is always the Baby Romaine Lettuce (S$16).

Feeling peckish and just want a light bite? Go for the White Truffle Scented Shoestrings Fries (S$9) and a Bloody Mary Shooter (S$4) – you are ready to rock and roll all night! Besides, any time is a good time for Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro’s Truffle Fries!

Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro is a great destination for desserts, too. The Homemade Tiramisu (S$14) remains one of the best that we have had in town. And here’s the deal – we tried the White Truffle Flavoured Lava Chocolate Cake (S$12) recently, and we fell head over heels in love with it. We can’t say what exactly, but it is one rendition you must not miss out on. Alternatively, the Black Sesame Cheese Pound Cake (S$14), with chocolate soil, dehydrated lychee, and a scoop of chocolate gelato, is a fine way to end your night.

For those of you who are still undecided about where to go for Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day, why not discover somewhere for a change? Here are some snippets of Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year promotions at Quayside Isle.

Blue Lotus – Chinese Eating House

Blue Lotus – Chinese Eating House is the only Chinese restaurant at Quayside Isle, and it offers simple but very well-executed Chinese food. Think classic dishes that are familiar and comforting, yet refined and exquisite with the use of premium ingredients.

For Chinese New Year 2014, Blue Lotus has several CNY set menus available from 13 Jan to 14 Feb 2014, ranging from Happiness (S$88/pax, minimum 4 guests) to Prosperity (S$288++/pax, minimum 10 guests). Among the dishes that we have sampled, the most outstanding ones are the Foie Gras and Wagyu Beef Sang Choy Bow that left us lingering for more, and the signature Pomelo Crab Claw – Blue Lotus’s take on the iconic chilli crab, less the mess.

Blue Lotus opens daily for lunch and dinner during the Chinese New Year period from 30 Jan to 14 Feb 2014 except 31 Jan and 1 Feb 2014.

Yusheng is a must-have dish during Chinese New Year, but most places serve it with the usual ingredients and dressing. Why not try something special this year? Brussels Sprouts has the Poisson Cru Platter – its rendition of a “Belgian” Yusheng. Consisting of turnip, beetroot, Sirop de Liege, peanuts, raspberry vinegar, rollmops and mussels crackers, this Yusheng will definitely stand out among the rest you will be having this year.

Museo

A sexy restaurant that sits on the second level, boasting a panoramic view of Quayside Isle, Museo is among our favourites, and we will tell you just why. Apart from their stylish take on the furniture and tableware, their Valentine’s Dinner menu – available on 13 and 14 Feb 2014 – is that of a spectrum of flavours so beautifully complex, we strongly urge couples to spend the special occasion there.

Following which, enjoy the Three-appetisers Platter, a medley of smoked duck breast, chicken consomme flavoured with cepes mushrooms, and basil cheese baked king oyster. They are all flavourful but the star of the show has definitely got to be the main courses. Choose from Grilled Wagyu Beef Rump and King Prawn in Crispy Kataifi Pastry or Grilled Half Lobster and Chicken Roulade. Dessert is a serving of Tiramisu with almond tuile, panna cotta and mango caviar.

Picotin Express

This well-loved European bistro has an astounding take on the Lunar New Year this year. You are in for a treat with the festive creations of Guoxia Pizza and Lijiang Pizza which are both S$22 each. The former is a bold and unique pairing of roast duck, plum sauce and water chestnut; the latter is Picotin’s rendition of a Chinese-inspired pizza, featuring a brilliant combination of Chinese sausages and spring onions. And in case the tastes do not wow you enough, take delight in the names that are bestowed upon – both are named after Chinese horse breeds in lieu of the celebratory year of the Horse. Talk about paying homage to Chinese traditions!

Sweet endings include Duo of Strawberry (S$12), but we’d recommend the Trio of Chocolate (S$20) to share because the brownie is too good to pass.

There has always been a debate over the difference between farm-bred and wild-caught fishes. The former, while much more readily available and affordable, has a higher chance of being contaminated, hence more prone to getting disease. The latter live in their natural habitats out in the open waters, and is hence a lot healthier. We can go on and on about the benefits of wild-caught fishes, but we will leave that for another day. While I am always happy to order wild-caught fishes when I dine out, restaurants in Singapore hardly place an emphasis on it and hence stick to using conventional farm-bred ones.

This is why I am so happy to introduce Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro as it is really a heaven for seafood lovers. Located at the charming Quayside Isle at the luxurious Sentosa Cove enclave, Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro has daily fresh imports of wild-caught seafood and fish from different parts of the world.

Appetising starters include Hokkaido Scallops Crudo (S$19), freshly shucked oysters, and the beautifully-plated Torched Holloumi Cheese (S$18). The pastas (S$28) are too delicious to a fault, and nobody can resist the Baked Half Boston Lobster (S$54). But the highlight of the menu – and something that you must order – is the qsfb’s Fresh Seafood Platter (S$150).

Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro has a spacious interior that looks very inviting and though nothing fanciful, it makes you want to sink in to the seat for a meal. The splendiferous waterfront view makes it a wonderful choice for all-day dining; breezy environment to say the least, and you cannot get any more relaxing than this. And the cherry on top? The al fresco area is pet-friendly.

The Torched Holloumi Cheese (S$18) – with compressed watermelon, wild rocket, raspberry wine vinaigrette and squid ink crumbs – is a work of art on its own. The very colourful dish is simply too beautiful to behold. It is intended to spark the palate and leave you anticipating what is to come.

The Horseradish Marinated Yellowfin Tuna Tartare (S$18) is also another great way to start your meal. So too are the oysters. If you like oysters, you will be spoiled by the choices at Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro. They have oysters (S$4.30 – S$9.35 per piece) from around the world – Tasmania, Scotland, Ireland, France, to name a few…

What I also like about Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro is that it has a special and very personalised Blackboard menu which changes daily with the freshest produce that the chefs source for the day. First, you choose a fish (min order of 200g for dine-in), then select your preferred cooking method – baked mole, herb crusted, roasted, cartoccio, and poached. And finally, choose the side dish to go along with the fish.

We tried a Chilean Seabass in Baked Mole style. The fish was fresh and tender, but what worked wonders for it was the sauce, which was tangy and very flavourful. It was accompanied by a generous stack of shoestring white truffle fries.

Among the three pasta dishes on the menu, we sampled qsfb’s Signature Chilli Crab Linguine and Squid Ink Lobster Spaghetti. The former was a kick-ass spicy and fiery hot rendition of the iconic Singapore dish, while the latter came in delicious squid ink XO cream with hint of brandy, topped with huge chunks of lobsters.

The standout dish on the menu is surely the qsfb’s Fresh Seafood Platter (S$150, for 2 to 3 pax) – with the choice of hot or cold – which features an entire Boston lobster, seasonal oysters, Hokkaido scallops, snow crab, crawfish, tiger prawns, scampi, and more truffle fries.

Desserts are baked freshly in-house, too. The Black Sesame Cheese Pound Cake (S$9), with a scoop of green tea gelato, is a unique creation. Chocolate Coated Strawberries (S$9) are bites of decadence. White Truffle Flavoured Lava Chocolate Cake (S$12) will make you go weak in the knees. But the must-try dessert is their Homemade Tiramisu (S$14), which is rich and doused in a copious amount of alcohol. This might just be one dessert to leave you with withdrawal syndrome – if that is even possible.

Citibank card holders get to enjoy a complimentary glass of sauvignon blanc or Pinot Noir with every S$60 spent at Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro (valid from Tue – Fri). Ultima Cardholders get 10% off total bill with minimum spend of S$100.

The weekly promotion here is also equally enticing. From a glass of Bloody Mary oyster shooter at a jaw-dropping S$5 (on every Sun), to a 1-for-1 deal on Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Prosecco (on every Tue), and 1-for-1 cocktails (on every Wed) – there is always something to anticipate at Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro.

If you are the adventurous type, and thinking of a place to celebrate Halloween with your pals, the “Peer by the Pier” Scary Halloween Party at Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro is definitely your kind of party. There are many scary activities lined up for the evening – expect free flow of brain booze for your indulgence if you dare. Find out more information on their facebook event page.

The marriage of super fresh seafood with an array of speciality cocktails, wines and craft beers served up in a comfortable and cosy gastrobar setting makes this fish bar at Quayside Isle a spot to head to if you haven’t been. For those of you who are already regulars there, the ongoing promotions are reason enough to make you return soon.

An unobstructed view of the marina and an array of restaurants & lifestyle retail outlets – A whole new world is born in Singapore. Quayside Isle is a new integrated F&B and retail development within the luxurious Sentosa Cove enclave.

What makes Quayside Isle a place you can return to again and again is its excellent mix of eateries — from affordable options such as Kith and Grillado, to chill-out spots like Sabio by the Sea, Tapas & Grill and Brussels Sprouts – Belgian Beer & Mussels — and a breath-taking view of the beautiful marina. There are few places in Singapore that can match this new spot in terms of its diversity of dining options, as well as the overall ambience.

This is a place where I can come with a few friends to relax over drinks and finger food, or bring my family for celebratory meals during the festive season. It is also great for an intimate gathering with friends or a romantic date with your partner – the setting of the waterfront dining restaurants makes you feel you are on a vacation without even having to leave Singapore.

Below we share some of the highlights of the restaurants at Quayside Isle, Sentosa Cove.

Brussels Sprouts – Belgian Beer & Mussels

Brussels Sprouts – Belgian Beer & Mussels set up by celebrity chef Emmanuel Stroobant is the ideal spot to go with friends to unwind after work. Get a few pots of their famous Moules Frites ($20 for 350g, $40 for 750g) to share. The Ostendaise mussels – made up of fish stock, lobster bisque, grey shrimp and mushroom – is the most popular choice. A craving for spicy flavours can be easily satisfied with their Tom Yum mussels.

We were also thoroughly impressed by its assortment of toasts. We had the Toast Cannibal ($14) – steak tartare on toast with gherkins; Rollmops Sur Toast ($14) – marinated herrings on a bed of green apple salad and roasted beetroot on toast; and Salade De Crabe ($14) – guacamole spread on toast topped with king crab and tomato salad. These homemade toasts were surprisingly good, and it was impossible to stop at one.

From 9 to 24 Feb 2013, Brussels Sprouts is offering Chinese New Year ala carte specials like glass noodle salad with pomelo, scallops with bamboo shoots, and mandarin orange & kumquat mousse – definitely an interesting alternative from the usual Chinese festive fare.

Grillado

First of its kind in Singapore, Grillado serves flat roasted Portuguese-style grilled chickens and chicken burgers, making it a must-try for poultry lovers.

For a healthier option, order the Body Burger ($8.95), consisting of chicken, spinach, tomato and Grillado’s signature sauce, where the meat is tender and juicy; and the Balmoral Beach Burger ($8.95), named after Sydney’s Balmoral Beach, which explains the golden theme of cheese, pineapple, mayo mustard and chicken.

Their flat-roasted Portuguese-style grilled chickens are also worth a try. A quarter chicken ($7.95), with a beer or coke, is all you need for dinner before taking a stroll along the beautiful marina.

Do check out Grillado’s promotion in February: Purchase 2 burger or roasted chicken combos and receive 2 complimentary cups of homemade yoghurt with fresh fruit or muesli.

Note di Sicilia

For folks who have a sweet tooth, you must make a pit stop at Note di Sicilia for gelato. To ensure quality, they have specially imported a traditional machine from Italy to make fresh gelato daily.

The Milano gelato maker offers 16 different flavours. For me, the most outstanding flavour was the Fior di Latte – smooth, rich, and silky. The Pistachio gelato was equally good and similar to the ones that I tried in Italy.

Besides gelato, Note di Sicilia also serves good cocktails. Go for their signature Cosmo Calabria, a simple but brilliant concoction of raspberry, lemon and vodka.

Paradiso Restaurant & Bar

Opened by the folks behind Cuba Libre and Nueva Cuba, Paradiso Restaurant & Bar is set to be the see and be seen place in Quayside Isle by replicating the same winning formula: a sexy atmosphere, expertly made cocktails and tasty tapas.

It is nice to see that the menu not only has a good selection – from tapas, to burgers, pastas and vegetarian options – but it is also reasonably priced. For instance, the classic Seafood Paella is only $28, and most of the main courses are below $25.

With its delicious mixture of prawns, squids, mussels, fish and vegetables, cooked in prawn stock, the Seafood Paella was our favourite. The Filo Salmon Wrap ($20) also left an impression with its crispy filo pastry encasing the moist and tasty fish with a tangy salsa sauce.

Picotin Express

The European bistro at Sentosa Cove is a sleek and streamlined version of the original Picotin at Bukit Timah. With chef-owner Steve Kaye helming the kitchen, you can be assured of a good meal.

Picotin Express serves signature dishes such as the Pan-fried Sea Bass with lemon thyme risotto ($32), Beef Bourguignon ($30), Honey Glazed Pork Ribs ($30), as well as a selection of thin crust pizzas ($22).

Sabio by the Sea, Tapas & Grill

Sabio by the Sea, Tapas & Grill is quite the perfect place to soak up the nautical environment and spend the whole afternoon relaxing by the marina.

Besides having an array of tapas, it also has a new Josper grill menu (exclusive to this outlet) which features signatures such as El Pulpo ($19), grilled octopus leg with viola mash potato; El Cerdo ($20), herbs marinated pig shoulder served with sauteed potatoes; and Esparrago ($16), grilled asparagus with serano ham and soft egg. The dish that stood out was El Cerdo – marinated pig shoulder – which paired perfectly with a glass of sangria. The Sabio’s Churros ($11) with chocolate dip is also a dessert that I’d definitely return for.

Besides the six restaurants that I have visited, Quayside Isle is also home to Cove Stadium, sports bar and bistro serving American comfort food and pub grub; Solepomodoro Trattoria-Pizzeria, where you can get authentic Italian cuisine; Kith for a cuppa; Kebab House which specialises in Mediterranean kebabs; Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro for the freshest catch; Museo, a tea salon cum painting studio, and Ezoca Japanese Cuisine for a Kaiseki dining experience.

After a fulfilling meal, check out the lifestyle retail outlets which include Jasons The Gourmet Grocer, an exquisite gourmet shopping paradise for luxury aficionados; Little Provence that stocks a wide selection of French gourmet food; The Straits Wine Company which boasts a well-stocked wine cellar and bespoke services; Hera Beauty Salon which provides head-to-toe pampering with hair, nails, make-up and wedding consultancy services; and Nikei Fine Art, a luxury art space showcasing a series of abstract fine art pieces by renowned and emerging artists from Asia.

Sentosa Cove is more than just a luxurious residential area. With the opening of Quayside Isle to the general public, it is now a new getaway for everyone.

The best thing is, gantry entrance fee to Sentosa is actually pretty affordable during meal times. You pay only $2 per vehicle from 12pm to 2pm, and 5pm to 7am on weekdays, and $3 from 5pm to 7am on weekends – making it an ideal getaway spot for a business luncheon or a family dinner.

For those of you who do not drive, fret not because there is a free shuttle bus service (Sentosa Bus 3) from Beach Station Bus Interchange to Sentosa Cove Village, an approximate 5-minute walk away from Quayside Isle. To get to Beach Station, board the Sentosa Express train from VivoCity.

I have good news for you. If you have been thinking about staying at W Singapore – Sentosa Cove hotel, here’s your chance. Be one of 3 lucky winners to be pampered with a stay at W Singapore – Sentosa Cove hotel with a minimum spend of $50 in a single receipt at Quayside Isle. This promotion runs from 1 to 28 Feb 2013, 1 chance per diner/shopper per day, regardless of total spend.
I am convinced that Quayside Isle will become one of the most popular lifestyle and dining destinations. Given its unique waterfront dining concepts and speciality retail stores, I have no doubt that it will soon be packed.

When it comes to the best Xiao Long Bao in Singapore, most people will usually think of Din Tai Fung, Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao, or Nan Xiang Xiao long bao restaurant. Along the sleepy Neil Road at the intersection of Chinatown & Maxwell Food Market, there’s a very popular place that serves good xiao long bao? Try to search for Neil Road, and Google will actually prompt “Neil Road Xiao Long Bao”, or “Neil Road Qun Zhong”.

The Lonely Planet Guide refers to Qun Zhong Eating House as the #433 out of 625 Things to do in Singapore. Are the Steamed Pork Dumplings there really so good?

If you are a superficial or lazy person like me, chances are, you’d have walked past Qun Zhong Eating House a dozen times without noticing it. The place doesn’t look very impressive from the outside, and there’s always a long queue during peak hours.

Before coming here, I heard about the reputation of the ‘service’, or rather the lack of service. Stepping inside, most of the staff were rather grumpy and appeared to be in a hurry. We were actually quite afraid to ask them for water. Okay to be fair, it wasn’t that bad. I asked for water nicely, and they gave it to us without much trouble.

The Xiao Long Baos from Qun Zhong Eating House were much bigger than any of the dumplings that I had before. And it was for a very good reason. They held a lot of soup within the seemingly-thick folds of the steamed pork dumpling ($7 for 7). It literally gushed out when I took a nibble of the xiao long bao.

Is this the best Xiao Long Bao in Singapore? I can’t answer that, but if you like a meaty and thick steamed pork dumpling, with lots of soup, Qun Zhong’s Xiao long bao is definitely the one for you. We also had the Pan Fried Dumplings ($8 for 10), and together with the 7 xiao long bao, and a bowl of zha jiang mian – it was really a lot of food for the two of us.

Other than the Zha Jiang Mian (noodle with minced pork & soya bean paste), Qun Zhong Eating House also serves a variety of Beijing cuisine and food like the Chinese Pizza, Steamed vegetarian dumplings and Hot & Sour noodle.

If you still have room in the stomach after eating the xiao long bao, Dim Joy is just across the street. For desserts, there’s Flor Patisserie, Once Upon A Milkshake and Patisserie Glace nearby.
