Pacamara Boutique Coffee Roasters Singapore

Pacamara Coffee

It is a clean state of white.

Pacamara Boutique Coffee Roasters is one of the new kids on the block, but not that new if you are familiar with OZ Specialty Coffee. Formerly located at the other part of the Upper Thomson neighbourhood, the brand has undergone a major revamp and repositioning and now sits proudly as Pacamara Boutique Coffee Roasters at the edge of the busy stretch of Upper Thomson. It is a much bigger scale, with a proper dine-in space because they serve more than coffee and desserts now.

6 Cafes In Rangoon Road You Must Check Out This Weekend

Rangoon Road Cafes

Rangoon Road is one of those areas that we’d love to think of as the “last frontiers of Singapore”. In our memories, we grew up knowing Rangoon Road as one laid back neighbourhood scattered with coffee shops, little eateries and workshops. When one thinks of Rangoon Road, Ng Ah Sio and Founders Bak Kut Teh come to mind.

However, the neighbourhood is more than just bak kut teh. While Rangoon Road may not have evolved much, it is no less quaint and lovely. Today, many new cafes have opened in the neighbourhood and it is hardly a surprise given the strategic location.

Here is a guide to cafes in the Rangoon Road neighbourhood.

Osaka Food Guide

Osaka is affectionately known as the “Kitchen of Japan”, and with this title, it only means that every meal at the Japanese city will be a good meal. There are no lack of options when dining at Osaka – from street snacks to fast meals at local eateries to a gastronomical display of kappo – and it is impossible to run out of ideas on what to eat because whether you are craving for an okonomiyaki or you need a bowl of piping hot ramen on a cold winter night, Osaka will feed you well.

Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro Has a New Lobster Roll on The Menu

Quayside Fish Bar Lobster Roll

With daily fresh imports of wild-caught seafood and fish from different parts of the world, Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro is our go-to place for seafood and late night nibbles. The restaurant has recently introduced Lobster Roll (S$49) on the menu. Its rendition comes with a whole live Boston lobster (600g of meat) in a buttered roll, homemade chili and kaffir lime aioli, and super addictive truffle shoestring fries.

Quayside Fish Bar & Bistro takes its seafood seriously, and boy are we glad that there is a new option when we are craving for lobster rolls in Singapore. From what we’ve heard, they are currently working on other variations like Seafood Roll and Shrimp Roll; we definitely hope to try them soon!
