The last day before you-know-what. Got a suprise the previous day, HungryGoWhere (HGW) founder email and told me that i am the weekly $100 winner for writing reviews on their site. So i went to United Square at Novena to meet them to collect my money. 100 Bucks!! Haha. Lets do a simple comparison between Blurbme and HGW, both sites are similar in the sense that they provide a online portal for impartial reviews on food, allowing online users to post their comment and see others comment for good food in Singapore.

Their main difference is that Blurbme is more of the upscale side, the restaurants listed are all really restaurants, and Blurbme offers reviews on Spa and nightlife in Singapore as well. While for HGW, they focus on food, even some hawker food that you don’t expect it to be there, they have it. By the way, HGW is not the first such food review site in Singapore, they started in Feb this month so only four months old. Blurbme started last year in june or july i think. So Blurbme is the original website for reviews on food.

After meeting them, i went to Bugis to reward myself, my new babe caught my eyes a couple of days ago, since i got 100 bucks for free, i reward myself on this.

Espirit Watch!! $135, after discount $118!! Not very ex, but still i really like the design. Simple, nice, elegant, the list could go on. haha! I promise myself an Omega watch after i made my first pot of gold in the future. For now, Espirit will do nicely for me.

After that, went to Aunty May house to do the ulitmate job. Cut botak! My head brings me to the reality i am in. Big head cut botak the head really very big : )

My last day is not very special i know, somebody meet girlfriends for their last day, some meet a lot friends go out, everyone have their different method of living their final freedom day, but for me, i already meet up with my friends during the past few months since graduation, and also my memories from China can last me for a while. Thus, i spend my last day doing nothing much..

Before this day, i have tot of many words to mark my last days, but at this point in time, i cant really think of what to say, so i shld quote what others said to me. Things like “Be positive!”, “Two years will pass quickly”, “suck it up man”, “you will only be a Man after NS”, “protect the country!” are some of what i often heard.

To those who had been there, done that congrats of cos u pass that stage.

To those who are not there yet, look forward to seeing you on the island

To those who don’t need to be there, good for you la!

Lastly, i will want to encourage everyone to flood my blog with yr comments!! The three month holiday on the sunny island on the east of Singapore will start tomorrow officially at 1pm. I will be back two weeks from now, 30th June Sat, pls wait for me to be out, and remember to miss me ya?

Activating eMo mode

Entering depression state

Okay okay, Stay Positive!!

Refering back to my earlier post on Donuts, i had said then that don’t eat donuts cos its not good for health. But i still cant stop myself from buying Dunkin Donuts, its so famous, and unlike the ones at Vivocity & Raffles City, Dunkin Donut at KL no Q!! So we brought 5 and got 1 free. We got three chocolate, two pinapple, one lime. The names all very long, can’t remember the exact names.

My point is, those donuts people are really clever, a simple donut come up with different variety and flavours, coupled with nice packaging. Ta-daaa!! Dunkin Donuts! lol! You might ask, what about my earlier post where i said don’t eat donuts, and here i am buying six donuts? Since ladyironchef is going to the sunny island on the east of Singapore for 3 mths, a few calories wont hurt much right? Haha! Kidding, ladyironchef is still health-conscious, i only took a few bites, the rest all my bro finished it. Cheers

11th June 2007

Went to Genting for my last holiday before going to the island. We went to larkin bus terminal to buy bus ticket to KL, wanted to get Konsortium Express (the best bus among so many going to KL), but the timing was one hour later at 11am and we do not wanted to wait (which was a big mistake). We ended up on another bus (24RM each), they say the bus will move at 1010am, but end up moving only 1040. Regrets!! Shld have wait for Konsortium, rule of the thumb, always always take Konsortium.

Anyway, the lousy bus that we took, took us abt 5-6 hours to reach KL, after reaching Puduraya Terminal, we brought Genting bus tickets cum skyway tickets (8.50RM). Took another 1 half hour to reach Genting, our hotel is First World Hotel (not first class at all), anyway its free cos dad use his genting world point to exchange 1 room for two nights, four of us squeeze into the tiny room : )

First night dinner was at Coffee Terrace House, personally felt that the buffet there is one of the better ones at Genting, 45RM per person, eat-all-you-can!! haha. After dinner, wanted to watch Ocean Thirteen, but the ticket for night sold out, so we pre-advance brought the tickets for the next day.

12th June 2007

Morning ate breakfast at Resorts hotel cafe 23RM per person, the food not nice at all, resorts cafe have really deprove alot this few years, i remember when i was young it used to be very good. O well, after that we went out to play!! Outdoor theme park 37RM per person, me and bro go only, parents went casino. So here we go, tried Flying Dragon first, had to q half an hour for the 2min ride. Duh! Den straight away proceed to the high level stuff, Space shooter (forgot the name), the one that u sit then it shoot up and down one? Yea, the tallest thing in the theme park, so u can’t miss it. Can see me in the picture? the one in white shirt, but cannot see my face cos cant take from that angle. Ha!

My virgin time taking the space shooter!! Adrenaline flows in my body, but the half hour Q makes all the adrenaline gone. Haha! Anyway when it was my turn, my seat was at the side that faces the hotels, personally i felt that this side was the hardest cos when look down from on top, the view is deeper compared to the other three sides. O well. The machine slowly bring us up till the top, den it pauses there for a while, making our heart beat faster not knowing when it will go down. Den suddenly without warning, the things shoot downwards, at that spilt second, the machine brings you down, but my body is floating and wanted to go up, so u know one force wants you down and another force wants you up, that type of feeling very hard to describe, you have to try yrself to experience it. Yea, the first move is the most exciting one, den it slowly becomes slower and slower until it reach the ground : )

After all the excitement, we went to Q for the fun-kart, an full one hour wait!! So bloody long, and the process is only 5mins? But luckily i got one extra round, the usual is 5 rounds, but i drove my kart so fast that i overtook the last two karts, den the staff tot that i still got one round. Haha! We went for lunch at KFC, den went back to the theme park again, pirate ship and spinner. 4pm we went for Ocean Thirteen see my fav star, Brad Pitt!! The movie was very nice, regretted not watching the earlier Ocean series, must go buy VCD watch.

After the show went to Mushroom Village ??? for dinner, for those who don’t know where it is, it is a small garden famous for its mushrooms, got two restaurants there. Dinner was good and cheap, the vege cost 7RM, meat 10RM. 4 of us had six dishes (3 vege and 3 meat), total bill was 61RM only, cheap rite?

13th June 2007

Morning we had breakfast at ???, ordered dim-sum, they still had the traditional trolley pushing around for us to pick the dim-sum. Total bill 55RM, we didn’t order a lot, and each plate onli got two dim-sum (unlike Singapore we had three dim-sum on one plate). O well. After breakfast, we made our way down and left Genting. Amazing view isn’t it?

img_2731.jpg

After an hour ride, we reach KL Puduraya Terminal, this time we die die also want to wait for Konsortium, an hour wait as the earlier slots are all full. We went to buy Dunkin Donuts, and then went to A&W restaurant to spend our one hour. Actually i still cant fathom out why A&W closed down in Singapore, its signature waffles & ice-cream root-beer remains deep in the heart of many people, but mayb they are not as competitive as McDonald & KFC so got kick out. Survivor of the fittest!

img_2734.jpg

Ice-cream Waffles!!

We had three root-beer, two waffles double scoop, two chicken, and one chicken burger. Total bill was around 35RM? quite cheap i guess. After that we went back to bus terminal, took Konsortium bus 4 hrs flat and we reach Johor. So thats all folks for the Genting memories. Nothing much to share, three days only, and most people been to Genting, thank you for yr patience in reading this post : )

Wake up early early on a Sunday Morning to have breakfast with Mister Ang and Mister Ong. Cos mister ang say he long time never wake up early to have breakfast liao, and also i seldom got wake up early to have breakfast with mates one. So here we go, at first wanted to have dim-sum, but in the end we chose Bak Ku Teh. Mister Ang say there are two more famous one in Singapore, one being in Balestier (which S.H.E frequents when they come Singapore), and the other one which we went Ng Ah Sio at Rangoon road, which is the one that appears in the news last time because it refuse/cannot serve the HK Chief Executive, Donald Tseng at night. Rangoon road off Serangoon a bit far, but Mister ang driving, so no problem!

True to its name, when we arrived at 9am, it was close to full house already. But luckily for us, we got a table immediately and start ordering. While waiting for the food to come, we started experimenting with the teapot. Although we got eat Bak Ku Teh before, but none of us actually know the correct way to make the tea (usually other people do it for us). So we put in the tea leave and mister ong start pouring the water. But later we find out the correct way should be rinse the teapot with hotwater once first, den put in the tea leave? O well, since we are not very particular about tea, no harms done!

img_2637.jpg

The main charactor of the day, Pork Ribs ($5.50)!! Now, i am not a expert in Bak Ku Tea, according to Mister Ang & Ong who had been to the Balestier one, the one here soup is different, must be the ingredients different, the pork ribs and the soup are better than the Balestier one (quote them not me) Service rating

img_2638.jpg

Pork legs. Mister Ong and me don’t really like eating pork legs because got fat fat skin, but Mister ang likes so we ordered one plate and it turns out to be quite good! Not really a lot fat meat, except for the skin. But if compared to the Balestier Bak Ku Teh, they say the pork legs there are better than here. Your judgement, your call. Its good n’uff for me Service rating

We also had peanuts and you tiao (which i believe everyone knows how it looks like so i am not showing). Total bill was $32 for 3 person, is it expensive? A bit i guess, considering we had it for breakfast, but once in a while its ok. The place at Rangoon road off Serangoon road was quite inacessible if you are not driving, a 10min walk from farrer park mrt i think. Also, free-flow of soup, you can always “top-up” yr pork rib soup if not n’uff!

4rd June 2007

We woke up very early today, 530am because the flight is 10am, we need to check in 2 hrs ahead at 8am, and the journey to airport is 1 half hours. After the last breakfast in Shanghai, we board the bus for the last time and head to Pu Dong airport. It was quite early when we reached there, so we got some time to take take photos before we check in.

Inside the waiting area, there is a whole row of duty-free shops, but guess what? All in US$! how to buy like that? So walk walk around a while, den we sit down and wait for our time to come. The aiport design is quite special huh?

We board the flight at 10am, Liwen, Yu Qun was sitting in the row in front of us, so no worry that the 5 hour will be pass long. With them around, havoc reigns! We had a fun time chatting on plane, den sleep, wake up chat, den sleep. lol! Anyway, reaching Singapore Airport after 5 hours, we have to say bye bye.

??????????????. But then as the popular phase goes ?????????! Everything no matter how beautiful it is, have to come to an end. But i believe this is not the end, this is just a beginning for all of us, we will meet one day again (we will la, Liwen, Yuqun house in Pontian so near my grandfather house, sure will meet next time).

During this trip, i have learnt a lot new things and meet a lot new friends. From Suzhou we see??, Hangzhou see ??, Nanjing see ??, to Shanghai see ??. Everyday different things happen, so many things for us to see, to appreciate the greatness of China. Travelling has really made me open up my eyes and learn to think differently, there is so much in the world which we had not see and discover, thus i decided i will go travelling whenever possible to see the difficult places and culture the world offers us.

Most of all, the companion gained during the trip is also priceless, fate has bring everyone together, like the chinese saying goes, our past life has learn 300 merits in order for us to meet once in this lifetime. I believe in my lifetime, i will not forget everything that i had experienced during this trip. But for now, everything has to be let go of, quoting a friend, that while good things never last, they happen for a reason; they are meant to be kept as memories deep deep in our heart! With that, it marks the end of our China trip, looking forward to the next trip! But first, a three month holiday on the sunny island in the east of Singapore beckons

3rd June 2007

Today is free-and-easy, no more attractions to view, so we sleep until the sun is at our buttock, 830am. wahaha! Our family 4 person just nice take one ??? (taxi la!). Liwen, Li wen mom, yu qun and li qi also just nice one cab. Yixing family got five person, but somehow they manage to convince the taxi-driver to let them squeeze into one cab. Taking three cabs, we all meet at Qi Pu Road (not n’uff shopping time yest). But today we went to a different shopping centre, boy o boy it was a correct decision. Yest that shopping centre girls clothe outnumber guys clothe 9 to 1 (ratio of shops), today this centre has a more balanced mix (6 to 4?) Yea!

Walking around for a while, i found myself in a shop, brought a jean, t-shirt, three ties (mister ang & ong u-know-what)! The stuff all very cheap, but after exhausting myself in this shop, not much energy to continue in the other shops. Partly cos the area too many shops, just one level alone i think close to 100 shops or more? Yea, thats the magnitude of the place. And there is four levels! And this is just one of the many clothes distribution centre at Qi Pu road. Saw some people pushing a large trolley carrying a lot clothes, those are the people who buy in bulk and go elsewhere to sell one.

Took a break at KFC, by the way the fast food in China is really cheap (compared to Singapore), one MacDonald set meal cost about 18RMB which is like SGD$3.6? KFC also cheap! Thats why during the 8 days tour, we had a few fast food meal after our dinner (cos not full or not nice). In addition, a tip taught by our guide, as you all know nowadays China has a lot of counterfeit currencies flowing around, and it so happen that all of us have big notes 100RMB, so to buy stuff not very convenient you know (???????,????!) So he told us to go KFC MacDonald to buy ice-cream using our big notes to get small change back. Smart huh? Cos KFC & McDonald very safe, and many outlets around.

Back to the topic, we shop for about 3-4 hours at Qi Pu road, then we gather outside and walk together to Nan Jing Road (the place like Orchard road where we went on day 5) The walk from Qi Pu road to Nan Jing road was about 20mins? Cos we don’t know the way well slowly walk. When we reach Nan Jing road, everyone was tired and hungry, so we anyhow went into one restaurant, but turns out the food don’t look nice, so 9 of us sit down at a big table, and order 2 bowl of noodles! LOL. The waitress tot they caught a big fish, but turns out we are ikan-bilies : )

After that, Li wen & Yi xing mom send the rest back to hotel to rest, leaving my family, li wen & yu qun. So we shop around the local product shop, buying the local food product. Then Li wen mom & Yixing parents came back to join us. We went to have pizza hut (pizza hut also very cheap), after which we wanted to make our way to ??? (the place where we went the first day), but bro and Yixing parents don’t want to go, so i follow Li Wen, her mom, and Yu Qun, four of us proceed on.

We wanted to take a cab, but the driver don’t want to fetch us, he say ?????????. At first we thought China drivers are so honest, don’t want to earn money, but you-know-what? This ???, we walk for 40 mins den reach. So next time if you go China, remember ??? means very far!! Anyway, we took it like holiday slowly stroll (except liwen who grumble and grumble), and also took some photos on the way there. The above is taken at the outside of Westin Big hotel, the hotel is renowned for having a lotus leaf (feng shui) on top of the building.

Finally we reach ??? after 40mins of walking. Didn’t show the pictures of the building on the first day, so here it is. ??? building all are very ????. We walked around looking at the things that we missed before, den went to have La Mien. The La Mien all very big bowl, and the price is not expensive also.

Hmm.. after finishing the noodles, we went to the small shops and browse around, and walked until about 8+. After which, we took a cab back, while on the way back we passed by Ming Zhu Ta and contemplated going up because the night sky was clear, but decided against it as they were too tired. O well, leave a regret so that we will go back to Shanghai again : )

Basically thats the end of day 7, shopping eat shopping eat! Good life isn’t it? If only everyday is like that.. Actually after been to Shanghai once, i am quite confident to say that next time if want to go again, just book air-ticket fly there free-and-easy no problem! haha! but then again, China changes very fast, over a few years it had developed and changed rapidly, so who knows what will happen in a few years. The next post will mark the last day where we fly back to Singapore, and also my conclusion for the trip.

2nd June 2007

Today is day 6 in Shanghai. As there are not many attractions left, morning call is quite late (compared to the previous days), at 730am. So after breakfast, we head out on the bus and went to??? which is nearby. ??? is by the Huangpu river, the same place where we see the night view of Shanghai the previous day (just that we are looking at the day view now). We took 15 mins to take photos here and there, then headed to the next place, SongQingLing Mausoleum

I believe many people have heard of Song Qing Ling either through reading it, hearing from others, or even through tv shows. Song Qing Ling was the wife of Sun Zhong Shan, we went to visit her tombstone to see her achievements for Mankind.

After that, we went to have lunch at a fairly special restaurant, the food is from a village bordering thailand and china, thus they have elephant statues outside, when we went there i thought we are going into a thailand restaurant. lol

After lunch, we went to Shanghai Xin Tian Di where food, beverages, leisure entertainment, history, culture gather together, somewhat similar to Singapore Clarke Quay i guess. The buildings there are very historial (of course they got renovate to make it newer but the old style of building), and inside the shops are western restaurants! The whole street is western restaurants, pubs, bars.

Proceed on to Qi Pu Road, Shopping time!! Qi Pu road wholesale Market is a whole street with many shopping centre. Each building have fours levels, and each level has a lot small shops selling clothes. But the sad thing is girls clothes far outnumber guys clothes. But still, i manage to get some t-shirt, belts, caps. Shopping time is very short, 1 half hour only. We came back the next day which is free for us to do our shopping. So watch tomorrow post for more details on Qi Pu road shopping.

Tong Ren Tang i believed is a familar name to some who knows their chinese medicine. It is a Chinese pharmaceutical company founded in 1669, which is now the largest producer of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The company is headquartered in Beijing, and is engaged in both manufacture and retail sales, operating drug stores predominantly in Northeast China. Anyway, we went there because they are giving us free massage (by the trainee students of course).

Meanwhile, of course there are no such thing as a free lunch in this world, while giving us massage, they send their professional doctors around helping to take our pulse to see whether our body is well. The doc who took my pulse say my liver is weak and needs prescription to improve. My father who had a friend who also went Tong Ren Tang few years back before, that time he was “conned” into paying for the Tong Ren Tang treatment which cost him S$3K. So my father was “forewarned” and rejected the doctor. Disclaimer: No disrespect or accusation to Tong Ren Tang, they are one of the biggest and best TCM in China definitly, but from what i mention about is just what i heard from others. Anyway, veron always had headaches, the doc wanted to open a prescription for her which cost 3k RMB. Give me a Paracetamol (Panadol) anyday : )

After the massage and the doctor dignosis, we had our dinner at Tong Ren Tang, Traditonal Chinese Medicine (TCM) food, that means they incorporated TCM herbs as ingredients for cooking the dishes. In Singapore, there is a restaurant called Red, White & Pure at Vivocity which offers the same concept. Anyway, the food was nothing short of chinese herbs, we being ordinary mortals can’t really taste the difference of chinese herbs in our food (but its in there, good for health). and the food is very delicious, one of the best meals we had in China. Now get ready to be blow back by the pictures!

The names are too long for me to remember, they have really long and fancyful names, but this is pork leg with some herbs : )

Even the ordinary Sweet & Sour pork can be cooked using TCM method. Cool isn’t it?

“Kou Rou” bun in TCM cooking style

Chicken with herbs

Full chicken with herbs. LOL

Sweet sauce fish, the fish very big we only manage to finish half of it. Wasted..

Now you know why at the front of this post only got words and very few pictures? Cos i haven been saving the space to put the pictures of the TCM food : ) Anyway, sorry for the lack of names of the food, partly cos the name was too long for me to remember, and also partly cos the food was too nice making me so busy to eat and never take down notes. haha

Thats the end of our journey today, we finish early at 730pm and went back to our hotel. But being Kiasu Singaporeans who cannot waste every second while we are onl holiday, we went for a walk to the Pasar-Malan nearby. My family, with Liwen, her mom & aunt, and Yi Xing’s dad and mom. It was drizzling when we went out, i shared my umbrella with Liwen and got bullied by her. So much for being a kind soul. Haha, just kidding!! Didn’t got any shots of the Pasar-Malan cos it was raining and too dark. But anyway nothing much, those small stalls by the road side selling food (heard from the guide someone became ??? meaning stomachache after they tried the food), so being Kiasi Singaporeans we did not try any of the street food. We walked about 40 mins then went back to our hotel. As the next day is free-and-easy shopping, liwen, yu qun and me went to find the guide to ask for recommendations where to shop, but she not in, so we end up back in liwen yu qun room and chat. Soon it was midnight and Zzz.. Time really pass very fast, how i wish time could be stop at that moment.. Next Stop: The Free-and-Easy Shopping

1st June 2007

Another rainy day! Worse still, our first destination is The Three-Kingdom Movie & Tv city (lots of beautiful scenaries from the Three-kingdom show), but due to raining we miss quite a lot of places. Facts about the place, the city is so named as CCTV’s TV serial of ‘A Romance of Three kingdom’was filmed there, the place was especially built just to film the show.

We took the tram as it was raining, okay and also partly cos we are lazy to walk (one half hours to walk around). And obviously taking the tram ride instead of walking require you to buy a ticket, which means money! We went to Liu Bei place first, this place was the scene where Sun Quan on the advice of Zhou Yu, let his sister married to Liu Bei in the hope of capturing him. And of cos, Zhu Ge Liang with his brillient strategy saved the day.

Moving on to Cao Cao navy base, this is the place where they film the famous battle of Chi Bi where Liu Bei & Sun Quan together defeated the huge army of Cao Cao, courtsey of Zhu Ge Liang again!

These are the two main place we went to, not much right? I think the place very big one, just that they only show certain parts to us. Anyway, after the navy base, we rush back to the entrance to catch a show. The show is about Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei battling with some enemy (don’t know how because we arrive late). It was raining, then the place was very muddy, yet the actors ride on real horses galloping on the muddy ground. Very nice show but it lasted only 15 mins.

We proceed on to the Pearl factory where they sell pearls of course. Wuxi is famous for pearls rear in Taihu. Spent one hour there walking around waiting for people who are interested in buying pearls. Meanwhile the staff there trying to psycho the ladies that the pearl very good and worth to buy : )

Had lunch finally after the long wait, the lunch was quite good, but my mood was spoilt by the waitress. She mishandle the bowl and poured the hot steamy soup on my hand and clothes. Talk about being unlucky. Tsk Tsk

After lunch, we went to China Pottery Factory where they made the famous Wuxi’s Zisha Clay teapot. Wuxi is well known as “Pottery city” of which many of the fine ones have become collectors’ items. The master there gave us a performance of the different teapots. Some teapot has a build-in “brake”, pressing the top of the teapot, can brake the water from flowing. Then there is another which can float on the water one, don’t believe you go try yr home teapot see which one can float on water. Anyway, the teapot does not come cheaply. One thing about China is that before we reach the place, on the bus the tour guide will tell us this is Govt factory, one price no bargain. But in so many places we been to, it is usually better to buy last. Why? For example, some of the groups buy first, no discount one price. Den another group hesistate to buy, want to discount but they don’t allow, den he don’t walk and walk away, but once he walk away, the staff ask him back, buy one get one free! Duh rite? Pity those who buy first. O Well

Heading back to Shanghai after a 5 days trip touring around JiangNan. Actually our route is going one round around Taihu (1,500km total). That shows you how big Taihu is (size 4 of Singapore). People is very funny one, on the first few days everyone not very familar with each other, so all of us just keep to our group. But we slowly warms up to everyone and become good friends. But by this time, it is more than half the tour alr, and soon we will be leaving for home. Anyway, it was fun knowing Liwen & her aunt Yu Qun, they are such fun people. The journey tour really get alive after knowing them. If only we can know each other earlier!

The journey back to Shanghai is about 2 half hours, but we had lots of fun on the way back. Everyone is very friendly, we sing songs from ??????, to happy birthday song (for me), oldies song and to children song! So so fun! Even the tour guide ???? for us. I will never forget the scene…

Reaching back to Shanghai, we went to Madam Tussanuds’ Wax Museum. Inside there are a lot wax figures of popular people, from the likes of Jacky Chan, Andy Lau, Tom Cruise, Aaron Kwok, Jolin Tsai, Twins, Teresa Teng, Princess Diana, Bill Clinton, Michael Jordon, Yao Ming, Ronaldo, David Beckham & Victoria Beckham, to my fav Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie !

After a walk in the museum, we were given one hour to go Nanjing Road (somewhat similar to our Orchard Road), the whole stretch of road with shopping centres on the two sides of it, the road is called ?????, no cars allowed only predestrian! But the time was too short for us to actually shop, so we just walked around see see. But we did come back again the next day, so catch it during the next post!

We carry out to have our dinner on the ?? boat, pretty isn’t it? The special dish is Xiaolongbao since we are back in Shanghai, but this meal was quite fast cos we need to rush to our next stop, cruise along the Huangpu River to see the night view of Shanghai

I tell you, the night view of Shanghai is one of the best around. Simply Stunning is the word to use! N’uff said, let the pictures show you everything!!

But pity the night we went there as the day was rainy, the sky was very cloudy and misty. So the view was slightly not as nice as it would be on a clear night

The night view of Shanghai is one of the best scenaries we seen in our trip, and it so happen that Liwen and Veron cameras run out of battery. So everyone ask me to help them take picture. Busy busy : ) Oriental Pearl Tv Tower! The famous ?????! The third highest building in Asia i think, really pity la, the sky so misty, when we went up we see nothing!! The top level all covered with clouds, cannot see even a building. Sigh! But still, go up quite fun. Leave a regret, so that we will go back to Shanghai next time! haha

After the visit to MingZhu Ta, we went back to our hotel, by everything finish it was very late already, we reach hotel at about 11 plus. But as the next day not much attractions left, so the morning call is later. Shanghai the big city of China, is in a different league with other cities like Suzhou. Tomorrow, we will visit the remaining attractions and go shopping!!
