Inspired by vintage marine and Inca gods, Kontiki serves up their own special brand of buffalo wings.

One bite is all it tastes for everyone to hiss in pain, before taking another bite because it’s just that addictive. Aptly named Cocaine Wings – Level: Death, it’ll make your life flash before your eyes.

Priding themselves on glorious comfort food, Overeasy resembles your typical Hollywood American diner with their huge greasy burgers and thick glorious milkshakes. Of course, they serve tongue-burning Spicy Buffalo Wings, and though it’s off menu, you can most definitely order a Level 10.

If you dare, that is. And why stop there? Grab some friends and order their Spicy Wing Roulette, there’s bound to be lots of laughter found in that.

On nights where you’re knocking back one too many beers, it will probably be a good idea to offset all the excess alcohol with something with a little heat. Which is why more often than not, bars would typically have some form of spicy wings.

Over at PONG Singapore, you absolutely have to order a plate of their Devil’s Wings (S$12 nett). Every wing boasts a fiery kick with a stickily sweet and savoury flavour.

This is, perhaps, the best place to bring any particularly confident friend to. Watch as they demolish the first wing and claim that it’s no big deal, only to start hissing and huffing in pain as they reach the third one with tears in their eyes.

Royz Et Vouz’s Buffalo Wings would definitely bring down even the toughest of all competitors.

SOUTHWEST TAVERN

Located right smack in the middle of Clementi and Jurong East is Southwest Tavern, serving up the deadliest Suicide Wings. Unlike most other places, they leave no room for you to hide by offering only one single spice level made with the deadly Jolokia Pepper, also known as Ghost Pepper, so we do recommend preparing not just your tongue but your stomach too.

SPRUCE

While most head to Spruce for a good Sunday afternoon brunch, it’s hard to leave without giving their Devil Wings a try. Their special chilli sauce would be a challenge even for the hardiest of spice daredevils, though if you’d like something less likely to destroy your toilet, their Hot Wings are a good option to have too.

WINGSBAR

As you’d expect from their name, Wingsbar serves all things wings, with their chicken wing menu alone offering 10 different flavours. Since you’re looking at this list, the one you’d want to have is definitely their Spitfire flavour, which would make you (metaphorically) spit fire.

If you have a bigger company, The Flying Tiger offers a similar sweating experience too, just less intensive.

WINGSTOP

As America’s number 1 chicken wing restaurant chain, it would a shame for it not to be on this list. Their Atomic Wings are generously coated in Habanero pepper sauce, and while it might not be the spiciest this list has to offer, don’t underestimate the damage it can do to your taste buds and your pride.
