Soft serves are here to stay! Yes, soft-serves has been the ‘it’ food for a while now, and we are keeping it in our lives. Few things in life comfort us like the sheer simplicity of a good soft serve cone.

The flavours and combinations can get wild and interesting; think Kyoho grape and oolong tea. And then there are the classic ones that we can never get sick of. With all the soft serve shops in town and more that are coming up, our excitement won’t die any time soon.

Here are 9 Best Soft Serve Ice Creams in Singapore that you have to try. A cone a day won’t hurt anybody.

#1 AMASOY

This gorgeous cone takes a spot on this list, and it should be on yours too. Even if you are not a big fan of soy, we are sure that you will fall head over heels in love with this cone – choose from matcha, soy (original) or a mix of both.

We are fans of this soft serve that is extremely visually-pleasing, as well as great-tasting – two major factors that attribute to a good soft serve. They rotate their flavours every month, so be sure to look out for the frequent changes.

#4 GODIVA CHOCOLATE

This needs no introduction because Godiva’s chocolates are divine, so you bet their soft serve will be no less heavenly. This cone comes with a rather hefty price tag. At S$8, you pick from three types of chocolate flavours, and the richness will have you understand why it is worth every single cent.

If you are into the potent milk taste in your soft serve, then Milkcow is for you. While some might frown at the strong milky taste, we actually love it when it is served with a side of honeycomb. The sweetness really cuts away the overly intense milk flavours.

Kyoho Grape soft serve! What’s not to like? There is honestly nothing bad we can say about this one, except that there’s not enough in this world to keep us happy for the rest of our lives. They also have other flavours, but we say, skip that, get this one and you’ll be good.

The Cold Pantry really pays a lot of attention to the presentation of their soft serve, and they sure taste as good as they look. However, you need to have it with their fresh waffles for the full “Cold Pantry” experience.

#9 TSUJIRI

Located strategically along Bali Lane, taking over the space of the now-defunct Honeycomb, Brother Bird is a brand new concept by the folks behind Stateland Cafe. They are probably no strangers by now, for they have been dominating the social media platforms with their ultra adorable looking soft serve.

Soft serve is definitely here to stay and we are loving it. Those bright green coloured swirls of goodness that you have seen around? Yipe, they are amazing.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>//

On our plate, we were greeted by the ingenious ‘mochi donut’. Co-owner, lovingly nicknamed ‘Bird’, told us that when he first experimented with his donut recipes, he realised that the donut turned soggy very quickly with the soft-serve sitting on top. Hence, he used glutinous flour instead for the mochi-like texture, which is truly brilliant.

We picked a dual swirl of the two flavours to accompany our mochi donut, and it was topped off with crushed speculoos, kinako powder and crushed freeze-dried raspberries. All their toppings and condiments are freshly made in store.

We were amazed to see Matcha Lemonade (S$4.90) on the menu, two flavours that we never knew would go well together, but they did. However, it is definitely an acquired taste.
