<p>Sushi Raku is a sushi chain with 4 outlets in Hong Kong and it is opening its first overseas outlet in Singapore at Raffles City on this Sunday 12 Sep 2021.</p>

<p>Popular sushi chain Sen-Ryo has opened its first outlet in Singapore at Ion Orchard.</p>
<p>Originating from the Tochigi prefecture in Japan, Sen-Ryo has 13 outlets in Hong Kong and it is brought in by Maxim’s Caterers, the Hong Kong-based F&amp;B group that also runs the Genki Sushi chain in Singapore.</p>

<p>Unlike the original Sen-Ryo in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Japan, Sen-Ryo Singapore will not be offering sushi on a conveyor belt. Instead, it will be offering full table service with dishes prepared a la minute.</p>

<p>The Japanese restaurant prides itself on serving “shokunin” (Japanese for artisanal) Edomae-style sushi.</p>
<p>On the menu, you can find a selection of Sashimi Platter, Sushi Platter, Kushiyaki, Tempura, and Donburi.</p>
<p>To celebrate its opening in Singapore, it is offering 5% off total net spend from now until 30 April 2021.</p>

<p>Joy Luck Teahouse will be offering two types of egg tarts from Hoover Cake Shop—a puff pastry and a butter cookie type.</p>
<p>Kam Kee Cafe&#8217;s pineapple buns (Bo Luo Bao) and Hong Kong-style milk tea will be making their debut in Singapore. Other than the classic Bo Lou Yau (pineapple bun with a thick slab of butter), the Bo Luo Bao also comes with different fillings including kaya and luncheon meat.</p>
<p><b>Fans of Tak Hing Fishball Company will be delighted that the authentic Hong Kong curry-flavoured fish balls are now available in Singapore.</b></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Popular Hong Kong congee stall, Mui Kee, has opened a pop-up restaurant in Singapore</strong>. In partnership with Les Amis Group, the Hong Kong institution will start a six month-long pop-up at Casa Verde in Singapore Botanic Gardens.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Mui Kee itself has a long and rich heritage, but what draws its customer fan base is the unique taste and texture of the congee itself. Using fish broth, pork bones and other ingredients like century egg, this congee takes comfort food to a whole new level. Those familiar with the name would know just how amazing their fish broth porridge is, and for those who are not, just imagine silky-smooth, velvety congee that brims with flavour.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">This is comfort food like you have never had before, and if you ever needed a solid pick-me-up on a cold rainy day (or any day) then Mui Kee is definitely one to consider.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">At Mui Kee&#8217;s pop-up, diners can choose from eight different types of congee that are popular among Mui Kee&#8217;s Hong Kong customers. They feature ingredients such as dace fish belly sautéed with rice wine, meatballs, pig&#8217;s innards and sliced beef.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The plain congee is perfect for a light yet satisfying meal—the fluffy, smooth texture is second to none. Meanwhile, the delicious fish stock adds a sweet and savoury aroma that makes the congee anything but plain.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Cantonese-style porridge is available only in sets here, priced at S$12.50 and S$14.50.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Apart from congee as the main dish, each set comes with crispy dough fritters and sliced century eggs topped with preserved ginger. Diners can also select other side dishes such as drunken chicken (S$10) and blanched kai lan (S$7).</p>

And its outlet in Hong Kong is a perpetual showroom where anyone is welcome to look through the open-concept kitchen to watch the preparation of the ice cream.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Some of the flavours that you can expect at Lab Made Singapore are Crunchy Sea Salt and Caramel Sauce; Hong Kong French Toast; Hong Kong Beancurd Dessert and its popular Custard Bun.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">While ice cream shops are aplenty in Singapore, it remains to be seen if Lab Made will do well in Singapore. After all, nitrogen ice cream is not something new in Singapore; Lab Made will need something special to remain competitive.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://www.ladyironchef.com/2016/02/i-see-i-see-singapore/">I See I See</a>—another popular ice cream shop in Hong Kong—closed its Singapore outlet after less than a year. All we can say is that it will definitely not be a walk in the park.</p>
