The world-famous French-Japanese cafe chain, Café Kitsuné has opened its first outlet in Singapore, taking over the former space vacated by Flor Patisserie at Capitol Piazza.

For those who are not familiar with Café Kitsuné, it is oened by Kitsuné—the French music record label and fashion label with the iconic fox logo—and they currently have 22 cafes across 16 cities around the world including Paris, Tokyo, Seoul, London, Jakarta, Bangkok, Beijing and Shanghai.

The prices of the beverages at Café Kitsuné Singapore range from S$4.5 for an espresso, to S$8 for an iced latte. Enjoy a cup of coffee with pastries including Paris Brest (S$12), Chilli Chocolate Tart (S$12), Croissant (S$7), and Strawberry Shortcake (S$13).

The beans are roasted in Café Kitsuné’s roastery in Okoyama, Japan, and air-flown to Singapore every month.

We are huge fans of the Café Kitsuné brand and we always make it a point to visit Café Kitsuné whenever we are in Paris, Tokyo and Seoul. However, we thought that the decor of Café Kitsuné Singapore’s first outlet at Capitol Piazza is rather underwhelming and it lacks the Kitsuné identity.

We definitely hope that their other outlets will be more promising and live up to the Café Kitsuné’s name.

Café Kitsuné is one Parisian name that comes to mind whenever the Parisian cafe scene is discussed. And yes, it is by Kitsuné, the French music record label and fashion label with the iconic fox logo.

Café Kitsuné Paris is easily one of the prettiest cafes in Paris.

Here’s a peek into the quaint outlet in Tokyo that you totally have to include for your next cafe-hopping in Tokyo, Japan.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: block; text-align: center;" data-ad-layout="in-article" data-ad-format="fluid" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="3885138539"></ins><ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: block; text-align: center;" data-ad-layout="in-article" data-ad-format="fluid" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="3885138539"></ins><ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: block; text-align: center;" data-ad-layout="in-article" data-ad-format="fluid" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="3885138539"></ins><ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: block; text-align: center;" data-ad-layout="in-article" data-ad-format="fluid" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="3885138539"></ins>

You might need to take note of the minimum order per person at Café Kitsuné Tokyo—at least a drink each in order to get a table and to sit around.

If you follow international fashion bloggers on Instagram, chances are, you would have seen Café Kitsuné by Maison Kitsuné on their timelines before. That iconic white cup with a sharp black font – probably taken against the row of trees, or on a squarish black table with some catalogues in the background. Yipe, that is it.

Developed by founders Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, this small stand-up coffee bar has a clean and simple design with the charm of a quaint European café. This is Maison Kitsuné’s second coffee shop, after the success of its first outlet in Tokyo.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

With a good book in hand, and the love of your life, an hour at Cafe Kitsuné can be a marvellous time-out from all that walking in the city.

We were there in autumn and though very chilly, we were completely in love with the serenity and quietness of the cafe; like nothing else mattered, except time with our loved ones over lattes. Of course, the lattes are what you must have.

To be honest though, we did not quite enjoy our Matcha Latte, but that is only because we prefer ours stronger with a heavier matcha taste. But the Flat White was certainly a comforting cuppa on that cold morning; with photogenic latte art, no less.
