Ultimo Italian Restaurant is a popular Italian restaurant located in the heart of Seminyak, Bali. Even if you are on a budget trip to Bali, do not be put off by its posh interior as the restaurant offers affordable pricing for its lovely ambiance and classic Italian dishes.

Most of the pastas and pizzas on the menu are priced less than RP100,000/ S$10. You can even complement the food with house pour wines starting from as low as RP25,000/ S$2.50. Drop by the place and you will see why this is one of our all-time favourite Italian restaurants in Seminyak. 

Peak hour starts during sunset at Ultimo Italian Restaurant and the place transforms into a romantic restaurant where couples can have an intimate candlelight dinner. If you are not a fan of crowds, visit them during the day when it is quieter.

For those who are wondering what gnocchi is, it is actually soft dough dumplings that is usually made from flour or potato. Ultimo Italian Restaurant’s homemade Gnocchi Di Patate Valtelina (RP70,000/ S$7) came with rich tomato sauce and sliced portabello mushrooms.

The Fettucinne Alla Carbonara (RP70,000/ S$7) is your standard carbonara pasta featuring pork bacon and cream egg sauce. While it is not the best we have tried, we find it decent for its price.

Diners have a wide range of pasta options including Penne All’ Arabiata (RP60,000/ S$6) and Lasagna Al Forno (RP70,000/ S$7).

One thing you should not miss out is their homemade wood-fired pizzas. Served warm from their kitchen, our Margherita Pizza (RP70,000/ S$7) is a thin crust pizza with crispy edges. We liked that the cheese, tomato sauce and other savoury ingredients are evenly spread out, making every slice flavourful.

You can also look forward to other traditional Italian mains such as Filleto Mignon, Tenderloin Beef (RP190,000/ S$19) and Pollo Arrosto/Roasted Chicken (RP130,000/ S$13).
