Established in 2012 by celebrity baker, Dean Brettschneider, Baker & Cook is a popular artisanal bakery cafe with 12 outlets in Singapore.

We’ve dined at several of their outlets before, but we frequent the Dempsey Hill outlet because of its ambiance and great food. More than these, they are also pet-friendly and kids-friendly!

Baker & Cook has some really mean bakes, and we love the Dempsey outlet because it shares the space with their sister brand, Plank Sourdough Pizza. You get the best of both worlds: bakes and brunch fare from Baker & Cook with stellar pizzas from Plank Sourdough Pizza.

Life is better when you’re enjoying the outdoors with a beautiful (and affordable) Hanger Steak. More than just a steak, the Grilled Barley Fed Hanger Steak comes complete with amazing duck fat roasted potatoes and Jerusalem artichoke.

Indulge in this flavourful Italian rice dish of assorted mushroom and parmigiana reggiano. Comes in a generous portion, the Truffle Risotto is so rich and creamy that we’re salivating just thinking about it again! It is also one of the few vegetarian items on the menu!

The Kuhlbarra Barramundi En Papillote was so satisfying! Think a big slab of fresh barramundi, potatoes, shrimps, chicken broth, dill and lemon – all baked together to bring out the natural flavours and sweetness of every fresh ingredient. Mamma Mia!

When in doubt, eat pizza. But not any pizza! Make it this Burrata & Parma Ham Pizza because why not? You get the best of all worlds, and it is only S$28 for this huge serving! It was a monthly special for September 2021 and because it did so well (fourfold the monthly average!), they brought it back in October 2021 and will be in the core menu, known as Pizza 11 moving forward. Yes, they name all their pizzas in numbers!

Popular UK pizza chain, PizzaExpress Singapore is opening its first ever cloud kitchen at Stars Of Kovan on 6 Dec 2021.

To celebrate the opening, PizzaExpress will be having a 1-for-1 promo on all their pizzas from 6 to 16 Dec 2021, and this is only valid for takeaway orders at the Kovan cloud kitchen outlet.

Founded in in United Kingdom, PizzaExpress has over 500 outlets in United Kingdom, various European countries, Hong Kong, India and the Middle East.

The pizzas are all made from scratch in store with fresh ingredients. Besides pizzas, PizzaExpress also offers a whole range of salads, pastas and bite-size snacks.
