Taking over the former unit vacated by 88 Seoul BBQ, O.BBa BBQ & Jjajang is the newest restaurant to open in the Serangoon Gardens enclave.

If you love Korean BBQ, you definitely need to check out O.BBa BBQ & Jjajang which is extremely popular and there’s always a long queue at their outlets in Tanjong Pagar.

For those of you who are new to O.BBa BBQ & Jjajang, go for their BBQ sets which comprise a good selection of meat and Korean stew.

On the menu you will find iberico pork, marinated galbi, sliced pork belly as well as the popular cuts for Korean BBQ. Apart from BBQ meat, they also have a huge selection of Korean dishes such as Korean stews, pancakes and noodles.

The new O.BBa BBQ & Jjajang outlet in Serangoon Gardens is a franchise and not by the original owner. You can also find O.BBa BBQ & Jjajang at other locations including three units in Tanjong Pagar as well as their original outlet n Bukit Timah along Cheong Chin Nam Rd opposite Beauty World.

Popular Taiwanese coissant brand Hazukido will be opening its first store in Singapore by August 2024 at the basement of Ngee Ann City.

Established in Taiwan, Hazukido offers a wide range of exciting flavoured Japanese-style croissants. They currently have outlets around the world including Hong Kong, Malaysia and Canada.

Singaporeans will be familiar with Hazukido as they have many outlets in Malaysia including Johor Bahru.

Popular ice cream and waffle cafe, Sunday Folks will be closing their outlet at Chip Bee Gardens on 29 Feb 2024 after serving the residents in the neighbourhood for the last 10 years.

Beautifully swirled on a cone or on some crispy yet pillowy-soft waffles, Sunday Folks has made a name for itself with their signature waffles and freshly-churned soft-serve ice creams.

Good news for fans of GRUB Burger Bistro who are residents in the Bishan and Ang Mo Kio neighbourhoods, the casual neighbourhood eatery is reopening in Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park after closing its previous location back in Jan 2022.

It will be opening at a new pasta kitchen next to all-day dining restaurant, Canopy and it is taking over the former space vacated by ToriYard.

The casual bistro was previously at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park for 9 years before being forced to move out as the lease was not renewed.

GRUB is a Mod-sin bistro which specialises in Western dishes with a creative local twist. Their bestselling dishes include Har Cheong Gai Fried Chicken Waffles, Truffle Angus Cheeseburger, and Basque Burnt Cheesecake.

At the new GRUB Pasta Kitchen, you can look forward to freshly-made pasta paired with lovely wines.

One of our all-time favourite Italian restaurants in Singapore, Ristorante Da Valentino is closing on 24 December after 18 years of operations.

Opened by chef-owner Valentino Valtulina, Ristorante Da Valentino started as a humble Italian restaurant in a residential neighbourhood at Rifle Range Road in Bukit Timah before moving to The Grandstand.

For those of you who have never had the chance to dine at Ristorante Da Valentino, it is a cosy restaurant which dishes out authentic and delicious Italian dishes and you can always be guaranteed of a great meal here.

Have Truffle Pasta generously topped with freshly shaved truffles and dig into other classic Italian dishes such as the tasty Squid Ink Fettuccine with Crab Meat In Tomato Cream Sauce.

Before you head down to Ristorante Da Valentino, you should know that they are already fully booked from now until 24 December and they have stopped taking reservations and takeaway orders.

All is not lost for fans of Ristorante Da Valentino; Chef Valentino did not rule out a comeback in the future and they may come back with a new concept in the future.
