Brad Lau, or more popularly known as ladyironchef, the blog where he has been regularly dishing out reviews of food and his dining experience of both new and long-standing restaurants since 2007. You can read more about how he started this Singapore Food Blog.
His blog, which started off as a hobby quickly found him fame in the local blogging scene for his honest opinions on food. In 2009, Brad was one of the top five finalists under the Best Food Blog category in the Nuffnung Asia-Pasific Blog Awards.
Not confined to just the wisdom of his taste buds, Brad also writes about his travels, sometimes personal and sometimes on press junkets. He has worked with renowned brands such as Novotel Hotel Hong Kong, Disney Studios Singapore, Pizza Hut, Nokia, SAFRA, Singapore Sports Council, Singtel, BMW, Denizen jeans, KFC and was the Brand Ambassador for Denizen by Levi’s in 2010.
His acute skills in photography are also especially evident in all the photos on his blog which are taken by him. Brad’s love for photography led him to set up ashleybrad to showcase his professional works. His clients include Pizza Hut, Brands Birds Nest, Udders ice cream, NUS, Financial Times.
To share his love and skills of photography, Brad has conducted photography workshops for various schools such as National University of Singapore and Catholic Junior Collage.
He has been engaged on several occasions to share his knowledge on social media. He was a guest speaker at the NESTLE’S Corporate Convention 2011 and was also invited to share his views on the local food scene on YES 93.3FM Food Radio Talk Show.
Brad Lau is always in search of new and promising food experiences. He spends his leisure time with his family and friends and enjoys reading and travelling.
