My name is Brad Lau, and I started writing ladyironchef back in March 2007.

ladyironchef is a Singapore Food Blog that features dining guides with restaurant review and food photography on the best Singapore food.

Why the name ladyironchef? On that day almost three years ago, I somehow came across ladyironchef, and I thought that the contrast between lady and iron was interesting and the rest is history.

One of the questions that people always ask is, ‘what gears do I use?’ I currently shoot with my Nikon D700 & D40, using the Nikon 60mm micro f/2.8 AF-S & Nikon 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5 AF-D, and an external flash SB-600. I specialize in taking close-up macro shots, and I’m also available for freelance photography assignments, please contact me for more information.

I’m definitely not as qualified like the extinguished experts in photography, nor as knowledgeable like the professional food Connoisseurs, but I put in a lot more effort and hours into my work. This blog is about the best food in Singapore, and of course my food photography.
