There are so many cafes and restaurants in Sentosa that will be worth travelling all the way into the heart of the island for. Whether you head down as a family or with friends, you will find a restaurant that suits you. Here are 9 Cafes & Restaurants In Sentosa You Must Check Out.

#1 COASTES

Coastes sits by the shore on Siloso Beach and its massive space allows for awesome communal dining in big groups. Coastes is just a 5-minute walk from the Beach Station.

Most of the food at Coastes makes for a great communal dining experience. Pizzas, platters and sharing snacks; just to speak of a few. The Big Bad Wolf Pizza (S$25) has a simple mix of bacon, roast chicken, capsicum and mushrooms as toppings that we thoroughly enjoyed, especially with its thin and crunchy crust.

The Bourbon-Glazed Pork Ribs (S$20 Half/ S$30 Full) was so tender and soft that it fell off the bone as soon as we cut into it. Come in a bigger group and you should order the giant Seafood Platter (S$52)—an assortment of seafood that includes pan-fried crayfish, crab salad, fish stew, poached tiger prawns with pineapple salsa, chilli clams and calamari rings.

#2 FOC SENTOSA

FOC Sentosa has a Spanish menu that is wholesome and very palatable. We started our meal with the Spanish Vermouth, which is a combination of several different starters such as the Bread with Tomato (S$10), Iberico Ham (S$30) and Anchovies in Olive Oil (S$16).

The food might seem simple but we were blown away by the quality. The Jamon Iberico Ham was tantalising when eaten with the tomato bread.

The Senyoret Paella (S$40/2 pax) was the highlight of our meal. Cooked with squid and monkfish, every mouthful was a literal burst of flavours from the spices and herbs used to cook the Paella.

We ended our meal off with an interesting dessert. The Yin Yang Cracker (S$14) is more than just its novelty appearance. The hazelnut cream centre was so rich and cold, almost like ice cream.

#3 GIN KHAO BISTRO

Recognised for its authentic Thai cuisine which showcases the very best of Thai flavours, Gin Khao Bistro prides itself as the first and only restaurant in Singapore that serves the restaurant’s Signature Watermelon Fried Rice (S$25.80). A must-try, this dish is essentially a feast of seafood and fried rice imbued with a distinct “wok hei” flavour, plated in a watermelon. Take your time to enjoy this amazing creation and savour the sweetness from the watermelon chunks.

The Crayfish with glass noodle served in claypot (S$20.80) is arguably another one of Gin Khao Bistro’s best dishes. Picture this: Juicy crayfish is simmered in Thai garlicky and peppery sauce in a claypot over high heat. Paired with glass noodles bursting with the flavours of the rich sauce, your taste buds will not be disappointed.

#4 GREENWOOD FISH MARKET

What could be better than enjoying fresh seafood by the sea? Greenwood Fish Market has a lot to offer if you are looking for somewhere romantic for date nights.

Greenwood Fish Market gives you the choice of dining in its stylish, sleek restaurant or to go alfresco and dine by the quayside. Either way, the dining experience should please your date.

There is no better way to enjoy seafood than in its purest, freshest form. Dive into the Cold Seafood Platter (S$99) which is good for sharing as a main or an appetiser. The Cold Seafood Platter is made out of ingredients which include half a steamed Boston Lobster, Seared Yellow Fin Tuna Tataki with furikage and freshly shucked oysters—just to name a few.

If you prefer your seafood cooked, the Grilled Spanish Octopus (S$18.99) and Hot Smoked Ocean Trout (S$32.99) will be sure to do the trick.

#5 MYKONOS ON THE BAY

Mykonos On The Bay is probably the closest we can get to authentic Greek dining experience in Singapore. With a blue and white theme juxtaposed against the tiled rock floor, we felt ourselves being transported to the idyllic Mykonos the moment we stepped into the restaurant.

The serene atmosphere at Mykonos On The Bay is complemented by its wonderful spread of Greek delights; there is just so much to celebrate!

Begin your meal with the Mykonos Dip Platter (S$26) comprising of Tzatziki, Taramasalata and Melitzanosalata. Then, feast on the Mousaka (S$27) which although resembles a lasagna, is actually an eggplant and potato dish with ground meat and béchamel sauce. Or, try the Pita Gyros (S$27.50), which is a marinated pork belly served with homemade pita bread and tzatziki.

#6 OLA BEACH CLUB

Ola Beach Club is the newest kid on the block, having only opened its doors a mere 5 months ago. Besides being a beach club and a water sports centre, Ola Beach Club dishes out traditional Hawaiian fare that is true to its roots.

The Ahi Poke (S$20) is a classic favourite that is a bowl of beautifully marinated ahi tuna, guacamole, ebiko, pomegranate and kimchi! If you want something a little more filling, The Huli Huli Chicken (S$20) can do no wrong. Both chicken breast and thigh are well marinated with Teriyaki sauce before being served with charred leek, a carrot, root vegetable purée and natural jus.

However, our absolute favourite dish was the Loco Moco (S$25). A thick 150g Wagyu patty sits on top the most fragrant and tasty kombu rice. The rice itself was so good, and atop the Wagyu patty sits a panko poached egg. Cut through it and watch the magic happen.

#7 WAVE HOUSE SENTOSA RESTAURANT & BAR

Known for being a water sports destination, especially with its iconic wave pool, you should be no stranger to Wave House Sentosa Restaurant & Bar. This beach club occupies the area towards the end of Siloso Beach Club and dishes out great casual communal Western fare.

After trying out the water sports, you should be positively starving. So why not grab a plate of the Nachos Supreme (S$16.30)? The portion is extremely generous and you get a side of guacamole, salsa and sour cream to dip.

For your main course, try the 6 OZ Handmade Beef Burger 9 (S$17) that includes spicy roasted peanut sauce, cucumber, lettuce and roasted red onions, served with salad greens and straight cut fries.

Try the All Time Favourite ‘Wipe-Out’ Pizza (S$17.80). This crowd-favourite is topped with beef pepperoni, smoked chicken, chicken bratwurst, mushrooms, capsicum, pineapples, olives and herbs.

#8 WOK°15 KITCHEN

Tucked away in the corner of the first level of the prestigious ONE°15 Marina Club, WOK°15 Kitchen is a Chinese restaurant that offers a menu which includes local specialities and Cantonese cuisine.

An array of astounding seafood delights awaits, such as the Garoupa served two ways which comprises sliced sautéed Garoupa fish fillet and deep-fried Garoupa fish bone served with chilli salsa on the side. This dish had an immaculate presentation and also featured a delicate bird hand-crafted from just carrots. Impressive, to say the least.

The nourishing Double Boiled Sakura Chicken Soup was something that we really enjoyed and though light, it was extremely fragrant and flavourful.

Your meal will not be complete without the Wok°15 Signature Chilli Crab—Sri Lankan crabs stir-fried in spicy sweet chilli sauce and served in a wok. Of course, you have to dip your deep-fried mantou buns in the sweet chilli crab sauce. Let no sauce go to waste!

#9 SPUDS & APRONS

Alright, this is a bonus that is out of the island of Sentosa.

Offering an excellent alfresco dining experience atop Mount Faber, Spuds & Aprons is a dining destination that is suitable for both families and couples, complete with stunning views of the Sentosa Express and city landscape that forms a picturesque backdrop to your meal.

Amongst the wide selection of Western and Asian fusion dishes at Spuds & Aprons, signatures you must try include the Tobiko Crusted Cod (S$32) and the Oven Roasted Mustard Marinated Chicken (S$19).

However, what took the prize for us was the visually arresting Grilled King Prawns pasta (S$32). A Thai-inspired dish, succulent prawns grilled to perfection were served atop a bed of silky al dente squid ink pasta, shimeji mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and a tangy tom yam broth.
