Famous US Burger Chain FIve Guys is coming to Singapore!

NYC burger institution Shake Shack has opened in Singapore in April 2019 at Jewel Changi Airport and it seems like that isn’t the end to the slew of overseas concepts coming to our little red dot.

If burgers are your thing, then you’d be glad to know that Five Guys—another popular US burger chain with over 1,600 restaurants worldwide, spanning North America, Europe and the Middle East—is opening in Singapore by Zouk Group.

The first outlet of Five Guys Singapore will be located at Plaza Singapura on the ground level of mall near the main atrium. It is slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2019.

Widely known for their burgers, hot dogs and french fries, Five Guys first started out as a humble family business back in Arlington Virginia back in 1986. Since then, the lads behind this burger joint have been consistently tweaking recipes to elevate the classic American comfort food.

You might have seen many photos of their burgers over social media and we’re sure that you’ve been dying to try them if you haven’t already done so.

Boasting over 1,500 outlets worldwide, the brand will be bringing to us their signature hamburgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, fresh-cut french fries and milkshakes.

Using only prime fresh beef, Singaporeans can look forward to their famous burgers. What makes Five Guys different from the other burger chains is they offer free toppings for their burgers and hot dogs. You can choose from a variety of toppings including mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup and mustard.

It has been a great year for Singapore, with many world-renowned brands picking this humble city of ours and setting foot on our shores. Foodies who reside on our sunny island are definitely happy to welcome them all, and now that we get to spoil ourselves with (more) food options, we are happy souls.

Singapore’s food culture has always been strong, and with these international brands spouting out in our city, it has propelled Singapore’s reputation and made us more significant on the world map.

Of the 15 Most Hyped Up Brands to Come to Singapore in 2015, which are your favourites? From photogenic Taiwanese desserts to a large-scale superhero cafe concept, our city is nothing short of exciting.

Andong Zzimdak arrived in Singapore with much fanfare, and it looks like the excitement won’t die down just yet. The communal stews come in four options – Andong Jjimbak (S$45.90), Boneless Jjimbak (S$49.90), Seafood Jjimbak (S$52.90), and Mayak Jjimbak (S$47.90). Korean stews are always welcomed, yes? Pickles and kimchi here are on free flow too!
