Two more weeks to Chinese New Year and Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) is all prepped and ready to ring in the new year with good fortune. As part of the Lunar celebrations, you can expect a whole line up of festivities, more than S$3,000,000 worth of prizes to be won and 8,888 lobsters will be served throughout Resorts World Sentosa’s huge variety of restaurants.

Now, we’re talking.

Be thrilled about sure-win prizes and a chance to win S$88,000 in cash, a brand new Citroën C4 Hatch, Poh Heng’s diamond jewellery sets and even a stay in the luxurious Ocean Suite with the Grand Lucky Draws* that will take place on 05 and 12 February 2017. Everyone will win a prize simply by spending S$100* (Mastercard® cardholders only need to spend S$80*) in a single receipt. Stand a chance to win RISIS golden eggs, Canon products, SilkAir air tickets and so much more!

Resorts World Sentosa is also treating you to amazing eats at their celebrity chef restaurants where reunion dinners are most befitting to be held at. There may be plenty of Lunar promotions out there, but this one at Resorts World Sentosa is pretty damn epic.

One of the major highlights this year is the massive lobster feast across the restaurants in Resorts World Sentosa.

Lobster is often referenced as the dragon of the sea. Dragons are known as auspicious mythical creatures in Chinese culture, in case you are still wondering why this “dragon feast”. Now, you can enjoy this luxurious seafood that will be prepared in various ways across the celebrity chef restaurants in RWS, including Japanese-style Lobster Gratin at Syun; Grilled Lobster at One Michelin-starred Osia Steak and Seafood Grill; and fresh and steaming hot Cantonese-style Lobster Congee at RWS’s first ever Supper Club.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

Double-boiled pearl clam soup with snow pear and cordyceps flower; Pan-fried grouper fillet with purple sweet potato sauce and seasonal vegetables; Braised German Pork Knuckle with Foie Gras; and Braised scallops and egg white with Japanese noodles are all part of this magnificent menu.

If you prefer the usual steamboat, you can head over to Hard Rock Hotel Singapore.

Try the Prosperity Steamboat set that includes lobster, abalone, crabs and sea cucumber. Steamboat is a popular choice for many during Chinese New Year and the Prosperity Steamboat set (S$168++ for 2 persons) is just what the family will love.

Choose from the superior chicken, tom yam and spicy hot Sichuan broth as your base and you can cook a bunch of fresh ingredients that includes 600grams of lobsters, 6 Head Abalone, Indonesian Crabs, Kurobuta Pork, Hokkaido Scallops, Garoupa Fish Fillet, Oysters, Mussels, Sea Cucumber, Clams, Tiger Prawns, Pork Belly and more.

Also, you can alternatively choose to have your reunion dinner with an Asian buffet (S$88++ per adult and S$28++ per child) at the Ocean Gallery in S.E.A. Aquarium, one of the world’s largest aquariums. This is a unique experience unlike any other!

Kids will be thrilled to dine with the fishes and sea creatures in the massive aquarium. The best thing about the spread is that it is Asian-themed, with dishes from Singapore and the region. Enjoy Popiah, Kueh Pie Tee, Bak Kut Teh (Pork Ribs Soup), Vietnamese “Shaking Beef”, Peking Duck, Malaysian Assam Prawns, Java Chicken Noodles Soup, and Taiwanese Braised Pork Belly – just to name a few.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

The festivities are not over just yet! Catch the popular Mulan The Musical at the Resorts World Theatre as a post-dinner activity with your loved ones. This Taiwanese musical has sold-out shows and achieved critical acclaim all over the region.

This Singapore adaption features an all-star cast that includes even Pierre Png and Ann Kok! Laugh and sing along in this engaging musical that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

There are the kind of places where you bring your date to for a private celebration, or for a team lunch. Then, there is also the list for more intimate experiences with friends and families. For Chinese New Year 2015, Resorts World Sentosa has two perfect options for everyone.

Want an elegant space with top-grade Chinese cuisine for a night of sheer indulgence? Feng Shui Inn is the kind that fits the bill. Mark this place down and consider it one of the places to feast at.

Apart from Lo-hei of several options, there is an a la carte menu. The Poached Seasonal Greens with Live Lobster and Black Fungus (S$38 for a small portion) is highly recommended. For something even more flavourful, try the Pan-seared Oysters with German Pork Knuckle (S$68 per serving). This dish packs a wicked punch and is good for sharing. And for the prettiest dessert? The Soft Layered Cake with Custard & Golden Flakes (S$48 per whole cake) will set everyone’s hearts aflutter.

There are also set menus of different configurations, and prices start from S$1,188 for 6 persons.

If you prefer somewhere quieter and romantic, Forest is for you. Helmed by Chef Sam Leong and his wife, Forest, this modern outlet offers exquisite Chinese dishes in a refined setting.

Dine with your discerning loved one(s) at Forest with a range of lunch and dinner sets. To begin, every set comes with a fruity salmon yusheng. Something fresh and something different.

But if sets are too much for two, there is also an a la carte menu, from which we really love the Four Treasures Soup (S$32 per person). Braised with fish maw, sea cucumber, conpoy and crabmeat and served in a young coconut, this is one soup that is luxurious and oh-so-sweet. Mains includes Boston Lobster that is wok-fried with green chives and fresh lily bulb (S$58 per person), Canadian Geoduck Clam (S$38 per person) and Marble Goby Fillet that is steamed with yellow bean sauce (S$34 per person). But we’d go for the Kurobuta Pork (S$28 per person) anytime – charcoal-grilled pork that is accompanied with asparagus, this dish is a fine mix of sweet and savoury.

Of course, there are many more dining options over at Resorts World Sentosa. You can find out more from their website, or like them on Facebook and Instagram for more updates. For reservations, call +65 6577 6688 or email dining@rwsentosa.com
