This October, a grand affair will be taking place at the Osaka River and it will be nothing like you have ever seen. As part of the Osaka Canvas Project, the “Rolling Sushii” art installation is one of the many few on display.

If you are heading to Osaka in October, you should make this a pit stop as it is, for sure, a one-of-a-kind display that is not to be missed.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

Sushi is a big part of Japanese food and culture, and you bet this giant display will definitely be the center of attention for the event. The world’s first conveyer belt sushi was first introduced in Osaka decades ago; now you see why this installation is so apt.

And of course, no better place to have it than at Dotonbori, the heart of Osaka where foodies gather!

The display will take place at Tombori Riverwalk on Saturday, October 3 2015, from 9am to 10.30am and 10pm to 11pm, Sunday, October 4 from 9am to 10.30am, and Saturday, October 17 from 9am to 10.30am and 10pm to 11pm.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

The sushis are displayed Edo-style in this grand presentation and is made up to a height of an average male adult – that’s some pretty massive display!
