If you are looking for a memorable dining experience in Melbourne, the beautiful Mart 130 Café is where you would want to go. Mart 130 Café is a refurbished stationmaster building and is located directly beside an operating tram stop in Middle Park. The concept is indeed one-of-a-kind.

If you look carefully, Mart 130 Café is actually named after the word ‘tram’ – spelt backwards, of course. Trams are a major form of public transport for residents of Melbourne, and the trams here are unique to the city and cannot be found in other parts of Australia.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

Watching the trams go by while indulging in mouthwatering café food is a special Melbourne dining experience that should not be missed.

Mart 130 Café’s interesting location makes the dining experience a truly unforgettable one – especially when it is located right outside a functioning tram stop. The only tram stop going through the café is tram number 96 and visitors can easily board the tram from Bourke Street Mall (the direction that is headed towards St Kilda Beach).

Mart 130 Café serves impeccable Australian brunch food, and one particular item that stood out was their delicious triple stack of corn fritters with generous servings of smoked salmon, a dollop of goat’s curd, beetroot relish and dill-caper salsa (A$19.50).

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

They are especially famous for their scrumptious corn fritters that sell out like hot cakes every day. If you are craving for something sweet, order their triple pancake stack with mixed berry compote and house lemon curd (AUD 17.90). Hot Coffee (A$4) and Hot Chocolate (A$6) for you too?

True to its Aussie style, the café is opened from 7.30am – 3pm daily. Crowds are especially common during weekends so do get in there early on a weekday to avoid disappointment!
