Leveraging on Japanese lanterns to light up the dim space and a gorgeous stone bar that is fully stocked with all sorts of alcohol, KURO Izakaya’s arousing ambience is the perfect spot for idling the night away.

The Smoked Ajitsuke Tamago (S$8++) and KURO Kushiyaki Platter (6 sticks for S$18++, 12 sticks for S$34++) are not to be missed. Using a special Kosei Charcoal Grill imported from Japan, this equipment ensures that the food is perfectly grilled without turning dry.

The Frozen Beer, an ice-cold Kirin Beer topped with frozen beer slushie, was an interesting addition to the bar’s offering of more than 38 whisky, sake and shochu.

KURO Izakaya’s Happy Hour promotions have Kirin beers going at S$5, Whisky Flights at S$38++ and Nikka Barrel or Nikka Black at S$99++.
