Originating from Kyoto, Kurasu is a popular cafe that serves specialty coffee from selected roasters around Japan and Matcha Latte. It is one destination you have to stop by for a morning pick-me-up.

Kurasu has recently opened Kurasu Orchard Stand at Orchard Building opposite Orchard Cineleisure and Mandarin Gallery. It aims to bring Japanese specialty coffee into the heart of the busiest shopping district in Singapore.

Kurasu Singapore offers the same lineup of coffee in their Kyoto branch with coffee being shipped fresh weekly in an express package.

Starting as a small online store selling homeware in 2013, Kurasu has since expanded their business to include both physical and online stores providing specialty coffee, tea, and Japanese brewing equipment that has been carefully roasted in their Nishijin Roastery.

If caffeine is not your thing, Kurasu Singapore has another signature drink—Matcha Latte, using top-grade matcha powder from Kyoto.

Drop by Kurasu Orchard Stand to try their coffee and Matcha Latte the next time you are in town.

Kurasu Singapore is a four-day-old coffee shop that is hidden within Odeon Towers. Originating from Kyoto, this is the Japanese brand’s first venture in Singapore and the cafe is sharing the venue with District6, a co-working office space.

Their minimalistic design, fragrant coffee aroma and soothing ambiance draw in many creatives and individuals who are able to enjoy some alone time or to catch up on work.

Serving specialty coffee from selected roasters around Japan and Matcha Latte, this is one destination you have to stop by for a morning pick-me-up.

The cafe is already gaining popularity among those who are working nearby. So, we would recommend visiting the cafe before or after lunch hours if you are seeking a quiet environment.

Have your coffee by the floor-to-ceiling glass window as you watch the morning crusade pass by or choose to lounge on the comfortable sofas around the cafe.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>//

If caffeine is not your thing, Kurasu Singapore has another signature drink—Matcha Latte (S$5), whereby the matcha powder is from Morihan, Kyoto.

Their Matcha Latte leans towards the sweeter side, so those who are not a fan of the bitter aftertaste in matcha drinks should enjoy this.

As Kurasu Singapore is currently in soft launch, do note that the menu will be updated again to accommodate new chocolate drinks, baked goods and more.
