Located within Djitsun Mall in Ang Mo Kio, Khao Hom by Rung Mama is a hidden gem opened by a Thai lady with the recipes from her mother, Rung Mama.

It will be opening a second outlet at Katong Square by end October 2022, taking over the former premise that is vacated by Goldleaf Restaurant.

Khao Hom by Rung Mama offers an array of authentic Thai dishes at reasonable prices and some of the popular options include Grilled Moo Ping, Thai-style Steamed Seabass with lime sauce, Tom Yum Seafood and Thai Papaya Salad.

The robust-tasting Crab Meat with yellow curry and Thai Noodles, also known as Ke Nom Jin Kaeng Pu, is super fiery, hot and spicy.

The Seafood & Crab in Thai Curry Powder (Talay Phad Phong Karee) is is less spicy but no less flavourful, and it goes super well with a iced cold Chang beer!

Khao Hom by Rung Mama’s new location at Katong Square is much bigger than their original outlet and the bigger kitchen will allow them to come up with new additions for the menu.
