You would know that Sheung Wan is an eclectic mix of old and new and it is precisely why we love that hood so much. Every trip to Hong Kong sees us exploring the unabashedly charming Sheung Wan, and this trip brought us to Halfway Coffee.

So you might have seen pictures of their iconic coffee all over Instagram. Halfway Coffee isn’t your regular coffee shop with predictably good coffee; the game is up with a look that they had creatively coined and is famed for today.

Coffee in Halfway Coffee is served in vintage porcelain cups. Pretty patterns on the China complemented with intricate hand-pulled latte art; now, this is going to be one of the prettiest cups of coffee you’d ever have. Coffee-to-go are also served in paper cups with porcelain prints. They did not earn their spot on countless Instagram’s feeds for no reason.

Apart from coffee, Halfway Coffee also has a wide range of tea selections. We have to be honest that we didn’t bother with those because when you have seriously good coffee in such pretty porcelain cups, it is easy to get distracted.
