A night out in Singapore is never a wallet-friendly affair. So we could hardly contain our excitement when we found out that a three-hour indulgence of free-flow canapés and house sundowners costs only S$48++ per person – only applicable if you are a lady, of course.

With that same amount, one can probably only purchase two cocktails elsewhere. But over at Atrium, you get endless servings of booze and tapas.

Atrium’s weekly Ladies’ Night promotion is held every Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm and all ladies are entitled to refillable premium house red and white wines, beers, five types of house pour spirits and a rotational array of premium cheeses, handcrafted sausages, hams and cold cuts by Master Butcher Leonhard Weber.

The house white wines are Heart of Hearts Chardonnay and Miguel Torres San Medin Sauvignon Blanc from South Australia and Curico Valley, Chile respectively. The Australian Chardonnay is filled with zest and has a delightful citrus finish, while the Chilean wine is a refreshing floral white wine characterised by fruity notes such as grapefruit and passionfruit.

Prefer the reds? You are not forgotten. Atrium’s Ladies’ Night entitles you to unlimited South Australia’s Heart of Hearts Shiraz and Chile’s Miguel Torres San Medin Cabernet Sauvignon. We love the Australian Shiraz’s rich aroma of blackcurrants and the Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon’s lingering aftertaste of spices and wild berries. Bottoms up!

Beer enthusiasts can quench their thirst with free flow of ice-cold Heineken and Tiger draft beers. A pint of beer at any other watering hole in the CBD would easily set you back at least S$10. It is honestly a no-brainer to come to Atrium instead, where you get to drink as many as you want – in a much nicer environment.

If beer and wine ain’t your cup of tea, then dive straight for Atrium’s five house pour spirits, i.e. Banks Rum, Bombay Sapphire Gin, Maker’s Mark Bourbon Whisky, Johnnie Walker Black Label Whisky and Smirnoff Black Label Vodka. Choose from a variety of mixers to complement your choice of poison or if you wish, you could even drink them on the rocks.

Alcoholic beverages aside, ladies can also look forward to refillable platters of luxurious cheeses. This drove us crazy, because it simply means a cheese party with the girlfriends!

Sink your teeth into soft and creamy Camembert Cheese, light and buttery Brie, firm Cheddar Cheese and the semi-hard Edam Cheese. For maximum satisfaction, pair the Brie – which has a delicious subtle salty finish – with Chardonnay. Ah, we are drooling already.

A selection of signature cured meats are served alongside the cheeses and you can look forward to Pork Garlic Sausages, Chorizos, Virginia Ham and Prosciutto Cotto. These savoury treats – handmade from Pan Pacific Singapore’s Master Butcher Leonhard Weber’s safeguarded recipes – are filler-free and absolutely tasty.

An indulgent evening of never-ending alcohol and canapés at an elegant and atmospheric bar is actually more affordable than you think – well, at least, it is so at Atrium. We suggest you drop everything and make a reservation for you and your girl squad before the tables are fully booked.
