Singaporeans are always on the lookout for the best buffet deals in hotels. But you can look elsewhere now because we have a great deal to share.

If you are an avid fan of Cantonese cuisine like we are, and you like the idea of a la carte buffet where you get to order as many dishes as you desire for a communal dining experience, then you should head to Dragon Bowl at Marina Square.

You will be completely spoilt for choice with so many options on their a la carte dinner buffet menu (S$42.80++/pax on weekdays and S$45.80++/pax on weekends)! From premium dishes such as Boston Lobsters and Chilli Crabs to a wide range of seafood and roast meats, here is what you can expect at Dragon Bowl.

LOBSTER VS BUDDHA JUMP OVER THE WALL

Begin your meal with the best on the menu—a Minced Garlic Boston Lobster or the Mini Buddha Jump Over The Wall.

The fresh lobster meat is paired with savoury soy sauce and topped off with crunchy garlic bits; classic Chinese way of eating the prized crustacean, and never goes out of style.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

If you prefer something more comforting, we recommend going for the soup instead. Buddha Jump Over The Wall is a classic Cantonese dish packed with luxurious ingredients such as abalone, fish maw and mushrooms—nourishing to say the least.

Premium items are limited to one serving per person.

SINGAPORE CHILLI CRAB VS WHITE PEPPER CRAB

Here comes the best part: you get a serving of crabs! Yay!

Choose between the iconic Singapore Chilli Crab or the spicy White Pepper Crab. We simply cannot decide which one we liked more because both were equally stellar and won our hearts.

The chefs at Dragon Bowl will prepare this dish according to the size of your dining group and it is limited to one per table, but be rest assured that there will definitely be a fair portion for every diner.

THE BEST DISH—WASABI MAYO PRAWN

The Wasabi Mayo Prawn was jaw-droppingly delicious and we are not even exaggerating. Expect crispy de-shelled prawns coated with a lovely blend of mild wasabi and creamy mayonnaise. We had three helpings of this, by the way. It was the best dish on the menu.

Other prawn dishes include Pumpkin Creamy Prawn and Poached Fresh Prawn.

FISH

Fish dishes at Dragon Bowl comes in two different unique cooking styles. The Deep Fried Soon Hock Fish is a crowd pleaser that comes with tender meat encased in crunchy, delicate fried fish skin.

Steamed Putin Fish in HK Style is a safe choice for everyone in the family. Steamed with soya sauce, the tender and moist fish meat is light and easy on the palate.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>//

NOODLES AND RICE

The Chinese will never dream of having a meal without their usual staples. Something interesting to try is the E-Fu Noodles with Truffle Oil. It is your classic flat Cantonese egg noodles but with a touch of truffle oil.

Other noodles and rice dishes that are good for sharing among your dining companions include Braised Tai O Vermicelli, Stir Fried Hong Kong Noodle and Singapore Style Fried Rice.

VEGETABLES AND TOFU

We always advocate completing your meal with some greens. Find a wide range of vegetable and tofu dishes under appetisers and regular buffet specials when you dine at Dragon Bowl.

Some dishes worthy of mention are the Marinated Spicy Cucumber, Chilli Century Egg Beancurd and Stir Fried French Beans.
