Concetto by Saveur is one of the ventures by the successful Saveur group, serving a range of Italian food instead of their usual French fare.

Concetto sports a chic and current industrial-style interior that screams minimalistic without being overly pretentious. With a simple and to-the-point menu, we saw countless of options from fresh pastas to heartier red meat options.

As Concetto’s menu has been newly revamped not long ago, we will be highlighting the new dishes on their menu instead. However, we did love the older version of the Concetto Pasta (S$4.90) with ikura and crab meat just a little more than their current version with squid and enoki.

A dish that stayed throughout since their opening last year is the ever popular Carbonara (S$12.90). This mouth-watering plate showcases a range of flavours and textures, from the homemade fettucine to the sous vide egg and confit confit pork belly.

The Beef Oyster Blade (S$16.90) is one to remember with incredibly tender meat from braising for 36 hours. We also liked the Kurobuta Pork Cheek (S$16.90) that is equally tender and served alongside chewy potato gnocchi and flavourful squid ink.

Concetto by Saveur is a great place in Orchard Road to venture to if you are feeling fancy but rather not burn a hole in your pocket!
