Fans of MUJI, the popular Japanese concept store, rejoice as they bring you something even bigger and better. Café & Meal MUJI – the first MUJI cafe in Singapore is now open at The Paragon. The Japanese cafe is adjacent to their current merchandise store in the mall, and we were most certainly thrilled by their arrival.

For those who spot a snaking queue, we urge you to join the crowd if you are one who are often seeking unique cafe experiences; it will be worth your while. Here’s what you can expect from Café & Meal MUJI at Paragon.

MUJI has been recognised as one of the most therapeutic places to shop at and has won the hearts of many. There is no denying that we are huge fans ourselves. And of course, the MUJI Cafe will be nothing short of a delight to be in.

At Café & Meal MUJI, expect simple fares with hints of Japanese influences executed using local ingredients. Their menu is kept simple – with set meals, a main dish, desserts and a variety of drinks to choose from.

The 3 Deli set meal (S$12.90) comes with your choice of 1 Hot Deli and 2 Cold Deli selections, and is accompanied with your choice of White Rice or Bread Rolls.

The health nuts can top up an additional S$1 for a Ten Grain Rice – essentially Japanese Rice mixed with Multi-grains that we are absolutely in love with.

Other than the Deli set meal, you can go for the all-time favourite MUJI Butter Chicken Curry (S$14.90) comes with Sakura chicken and vegetables.

MUJI Cafe also serves up some fantastic Japanese-style desserts. Be sure to order the Berry Cheese Cake (S$8.40).

Do not be fooled by its simple appearance, for when you sink your teeth into this decadent cheesecake, you will fall in love with its creaminess.

The Royal Pudding (S$5.40) wass smooth with a melt-in-your-mouth texture, complete with a generous drizzle of Houji-Cha syrup.

Once you are done with your meal, why not head to the MUJI Store for some retail therapy? Their household essentials, lifestyle products, stationeries and apparels are known to channel classic and hipster vibes that are irresistible to many.

There are a range of Japanese snacks and drinks, too! Don’t we all have a weak spot for Japanese products, really?
