London’s famous Burger & Lobster is opening in Resorts World Genting, Malaysia. It is its first outpost in Asia, and though we are still upset it ain’t in Singapore, fans of Burger & Lobster will be thrilled to know that this day has finally arrived for them.

Now, will this interest you to visit Genting? And will this spike a new lobster trend in Malaysia? We shall see.

Burger and Lobster has the winning formula: a sexy crowd, sexier cocktails, unpretentious and fun atmosphere, and brilliant food at unbeatable prices.

As you would know by now, there are only three items on the menu—burger, lobster and lobster roll. A whole fresh lobster grilled to perfection, a generous bowl of lemon butter dip, and served with a side salad and a bucket of fries.

The first outlet of Burger & Lobster started out in an Irish pub in Mayfair and has now grown into 14 outlets all over the United Kingdom. Burger & Lobster also has international outposts in Dubai, Jeddah, Kuwait, New York and Stockholm.

The outlet at Resorts World Genting is Burger & Lobster’s first restaurant in Asia—it represents a huge coup for Malaysia’s dining scene.

No disrespect nor any other meanings here, but everyone would probably have expected that Burger & Lobster to first open in cities such as Tokyo, Singapore or Hong Kong before everywhere else in Asia.

In any case, given Burger & Lobster’s popularity amongst Asians, we believe that this is just its first foray into Asia. Watch this space.

The restaurant has yet to announce an official opening date, but it is rumoured that it will be ready by next month.
