China’s most popular tea brand HEYTEA is opening its 4th and newest outlet at VivoCity on 9 January 2021. Fans of the bubble tea brand who are staying in the South in Singapore will no longer have to travel to town to get their bubble tea fix.

The original inventor of cheese tea, HEYTEA first started out as a humble tea shop in the Guangdong province in 2012. Since then, the brand has expanded to more than a hundred shops in China including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhen and Shenzhen.

The new VivoCity outlet is HEYTEA’s first-ever convenience store concept in Singapore, a first of its kind in Singapore. The new outlet mirrors the functionality of a convenience store not just in design, but with the launch of the HEYTEA GO app, which provides a fuss-free experience in ordering your favourite HEYTEA drink.

Prior to arriving at the store, you can skip the queue and log-on to the HEYTEA GO app to order in advance. The “Order On The Go” service, available at all stores, provides an estimated wait time and sends push notifications to notify customers when their drinks are ready for collection.

To celebrate the opening of HEYTEA’s at VivoCity, the store will be running a one-for-one deal on everything off the menu for a limited time from 9 January 2021 to 11 January 2021. There will also be free merchandise given out to the first 150 customers daily from 9 January 2021 to 13 January 2021.

The day all of us bubble tea lovers have been waiting for has come after an arduous 2-month wait.

Bubble tea stores are FINALLY allowed to reopen on 19 June 2020 during Phase 2 along with other F&B establishments.

Bubble tea shops, to our dismay, were closed on 22 April 2020 to further reduce the number of essential workers during the Circuit Breaker. While a number of retail shops were allowed to reopen in May, bubble tea stores were not part of that list. 

We are glad to finally be reunited with our favourite drink soon!
