One of the newest and most happening cafes in town now is Boufe at Phoenix Park, and if you are scratching your head over what it means and how to pronounce, Boufe is quite essentially made up from the words ’boutique’ and ‘cafe’. Read it as boo-fay.

So how does this deal work? Boufe comprises a cafe section (that is split to indoor and al fresco areas) and a mini boutique where popular online brand Ohvola is stocked at.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

The clean white spaces are brilliantly utilised with minimalistic furniture, a coffee bar, and a beautiful outdoor seating area that will have you surrounded by lush greenery and the freshest air. We love how the compound has so many photo spots, and it is easily the nicest space among the recent new cafes in Singapore. Its menu is also no less impressive.

The Triple B (S$21) is an evident crowd favourite. Quite essentially your big breakfast, this is a hearty portion of sausages, streaky bacon, sautéed mushrooms, homemade buttery croissants with scrambled eggs, and lots of greens.

Then, there is the Eggs Benedict (S$16). This is a pretty affordable option – with a generous portion of homemade brioche with honey baked ham and perfectly poached eggs with a runny center, generously drizzled with creamy hollandaise sauce that is made in-house. You may say Eggs Benedict is too overrated, but some classics stay gold and a marvellous rendition like Boufe’s is always welcomed.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

How about some Brioche French Toast (S$14) for a weekend treat? With the same homemade soft brioche, it stands tall and proud with cream Chantilly, fresh berries and maple syrup.

Now, now. For the sugar addicts. Boufe has a selection of gorgeous macarons to offer, and every piece is handcrafted fresh daily. Choose from an assortment of flavours at S$3.30 each. And on to the cakes, the Strawberry Shortcake (S$8) is a beautiful one that is highly popular.

But above them all, we have to tell you that the Citron Tart (S$5.50) is well worth a shot. We are usually picky about our citrus desserts, but Boufe’s version has won our hearts and we are looking forward to returning for more tart and citrusy goodness.
