This technically isn’t a sticky date pudding but we feel that it deserves to be on the list as it tastes exactly like one. The Sticky Toffee Pudding by All Thing Delicious is dense, moist and has just the nice amount of sweetness to it. Artichoke Cafe + Bar dishes out some of the most sinful plates of sticky date pudding around. We’d risk having a sore throat just for this!

GROUP THERAPY 

The portion sizes here at Group Therapy are incredibly generous despite its affordable price point. Each portion of the pudding comes with a massive dollop of ice cream that begins to melt almost immediately upon serving due to the warmth from the pudding. This provides one with that lovely contrast of temperatures that make sticky date puddings so amazing.

Some dub it as the best sticky date pudding that they’ve ever had and though we do not have the same claim, Habitat Coffee’s rendition is still one to try. We love how the addition of walnuts provides the dessert with an interesting crunch as well as a nutty taste.

Oriole Coffee + Bar’s sticky date pudding features a dense pudding sponge that is surrounded by a moat of warm, velvety toffee sauce. Indulgent, and we dare say, sinful, this dessert is finished with a huge scoop of fresh vanilla ice cream over top. The ice cream sparks a lovely contrast with the warm pudding and toffee sauce, giving you an interesting burst of sensations and flavours with each spoonful.

This is a classic and it probably needs no introduction at all. PS. Cafe has long been known to serve up one of the best sticky date puddings around, and we can only agree. Prive’s sticky date pudding is one of the best looking ones around and we love how despite it being so dense and moist, it does not come off as very heavy. The addition of walnuts also adds a nice bite to the desert and its nutty flavours complement the sweetness of the pudding.

Despite looking a little lacklustre as compared to the other sticky date puddings on this list, The Lokal’s version of it proves that looks aren’t always everything.
