We first knew about this hidden gem from a Vietnamese friend who highly recommended their Banh Mi. And it sure lived up to all the hype.

What makes Banh Mi Thit different from the other Banh Mi places in Singapore is they bake their own baguettes from scratch.

The Chicken Banh Mi (S$4.50) came with generous serving of chicken chunks, pickled carrots, coriander and it was sandwiched within the baguette which was freshly baked in-house. The toasted baguette was so good that you could eat it on its own.

The Beef Banh Mi (S$4.50) completely stole the show with the thinly-sliced beef which was cooked medium-rare. It was juicy, tender and simply delicious.

Banh Mi Thit is a humble Vietnamese eatery which serves one of the best Banh Mis in Singapore. And the best part? They are priced affordably and everyone can enjoy it. The location may be slightly out of the way, but it is definitely a place that is worth the journey.
