But for what it’s worth, Botanica + Co Restaurant & Bar in Bangsar South is a photogenic spot that is a dream for all botanical lovers. Every corner is a photo spot; every inch of the restaurant is filled with lush greenery.

Botanica + Co Restaurant & Bar is located in Bangsar South, in a quaint area of office buildings and residences. It sits on the ground level and has both indoor and outdoor seats. There are also bar counter seats on the indoors.

The culinary team prides themselves on being produce-driven. They source for the freshest, quality ingredients daily to prepare every single dish on the menu.

The menu is not the most affordable one, but it is a comprehensive one, to say the least. It is divided into brunch, lunch, tea time, dinner and drinks. With a wide array of choices from sharing platters, sandwiches, pizzas to desserts, there is absolutely something for every taste bud.

What you really must not miss the world for is Sam’s Signature Laksa (RM42). It is no ordinary laksa but it is one that will have you fall in love with laksa if you don’t already love it. The broth is robust and boasts a multi-layered flavour that embodies the freshness of flower crab, big head prawn and poached chicken—on top of the underlying note of laksa pesto and homemade chilli paste.

The accompanying ingredients include quail eggs, julienned fish cakes and silver sprouts. It was a truly satisfying bowl, one that would make us want to return to Botanica + Co Restaurant & Bar for.

On the drinks menu, the options are aplenty but if you are not a big fan of cocktails, try the homemade sodas (RM19). They have pretty interesting concoctions such as Pandan & Lime Soda, Kaffir Lime & Lemongrass Cooler and Watermelon & Lychee Mint Soda.
