Calla Spa: The Newest All Day Luxury Spa In Singapore + 1 For 1 Spa Treatments

Calla Spa Pool

It is not every day that we find an peaceful oasis of quietness and indulgence in the midst of our concrete jungle, but Calla Spa – The Newest All Day Luxury Spa at Suntec City – is going to be your next favourite haunt.

This luxurious spa sits within busy shopping mall, but we’d like to think of it as an urban oasis away from the hubbubs of the city. It boasts a spanking new facility that costs some S$4.50 million in renovations.

To kickstart its opening, we have an amazing deal just for readers of ladyironchef – simply quote “Ladyironchef” upon booking and you are immediately entitled to One-for-One Calla Spa Journey + Calla Massage (more details of the promotion at the end of this post).

Calla Suntec

Calla Spa is like a contemporary forest. Inspired by the allure of nature, the all-new lifestyle hub sports a modern yet mysterious forest theme that is both enchanting yet inviting.

Spa Relax Room

While our ideal spa paradise is one with mud pools and waterfalls, Calla Spa gave us a fresh perspective of how a modern spa can bring harmony to the soul. That it is a lifestyle hub means we can forget about our stress within minutes of stepping into the premise and simply sink into complete relaxation – of spa treatments, good food, movies and everything that we love.

Every spa admission entitles you to a whole day of luxuriating. Apart from the spa treatment(s) you have booked, the facilities are free for you to enjoy. There is also a bistro that will feed even the hungriest person. Listen – it is free-flow pizzas, pastas and waffles.

Sauna Room

Whatever a modern-day spa needs to have, Calla Spa has it. And because your admission is valid for the whole day, it means you can fully experience and enjoy the facilities for as much as you want.

Calla Changing Room

Think both wet and dry rooms for your steam and sauna treatments respectively, mineral pools, a relaxation lounge for endless movies and with reclining chairs, VIP room (subjected to availability) if you need somewhere conducive to work on your emails or if you need to conduct a meeting, and a bistro where your meals are settled.

Calla Spa Mineral Pool

We were told that the mineral pools at Calla Spa are filled with mineral water using a newly upgraded system combined with the latest original NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) ionisation oxidizing system. Of course, it meant that we spent quite some alone time soaking in the mineral pool.

We loved the hot and cold pools too, for the hot reinvigorates blood circulation while the cold soothes our nerves and stimulates our immune system.

Ain’t it amazing that we have such a rejuvenating option in the heart of the city, where everyone else is just engaged in a rat race and tearing their hair out from the stress at work? This is where you need to be at.

Calla Spa Bistro

You must be wondering about the bistro already.

Aglio Oglio Pasta

It is a cosy spot in the premise with a menu that changes weekly, so that there is always something to look forward to. It includes unlimited helpings of appetisers, pizzas and pastas, drinks and desserts, as well as one serving of main course per guest.

Calla Spa Food

Pay for whatever spa treatments you are going for and your admission to the spa includes meals all day long? We honestly cannot think of a better deal.

Spa Singapore

Calla Spa’s menu is simple but comprehensive. You have your usual pre-massage scrubs and body wraps, facials, and massages.

The menu has five different types of massages that are namely the Oriental Massage (Tui Na), Deep Tissue Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Post Natal Massage and signature Calla Massage. And there is foot reflexology as well.

If it is your first time, try the Calla Massage – a combination of traditional finger point pressure, lymph node movement and Swedish massage techniques to eradicate toxins and impurities from the body, enhancing the qi and improving overall well-being.

The ones who have zero tolerance for pressure and pain can go for the very relaxing Aromatherapy Massage which will send you deep into slumber. For the rest of us who enjoy a kickass rub to unknot all the tension in our bodies, the Oriental Massage is one to try. Note that the pressure can be quite uncomfortable if your pain tolerance is low, but know that it is for the betterment of your wellbeing. We sure felt a lot lighter after our session.

There is a private hair salon too, where you can luxuriate with cream baths and scalp treatments.

For all who are seeking some pampering for your face, the in-house specialty Pevonia lumafirm® Lift & Glow is one facial treatment to love.

FIR Sauna

Couple rooms are available for booking at a nominal add-on. And while you think it is just about lying beside your loved one and enjoying your massage together, you are in for more.

There is a private far infrared sauna machine that is coveted for its benefits. It comes with an online wellness program that tracks your progress on how much toxins you have sweat out, as well as an entertainment system within the cabin to keep you occupied. This on its own is well worth the add-on for the couple room!
