Thin and delicate, the heavenly French crêpe is a traditional age-old delicacy well-loved by French natives and discerning foodies all over the world.
The galette was first created several centuries ago in Brittany, and till date, it remains an integral part of French cuisine. The classic dish is so symbolic that the French actually celebrate “Crepe Day” every 2nd February with Candlemas.
The popularity of French crêpes has extended beyond its hometown’s frontiers and word of this delightful treat has inspired many to open up crêperies even in non-European cities. Unsurprisingly, food-centric Singapore has jumped onto the French crêpe bandwagon and multiple specialty crêpe stores have sprouted across the island.
We have shortlisted a mouthwatering selection of affordable savoury French galettes and sweet mille crêpes that are worth your cash and calories. From galette specialty O Comptoir’s Ménage à 5 crepe (S$16.50++) to EwF By Everything With Fries’ Nutella Crêpe (S$6.90), we are thrilled to present to you our Guide to the 9 Crêpes in Singapore. Bon appetit!
ANTOINETTE – NORDIC
Parisian patisserie Antoinette needs no further introduction. The beautiful cafe is renowned for its gorgeous French pastries and bakes. And they do pretty good mains, too.
If you are looking for a substantial savoury main, give their Crepe Nordic (S$19++) a shot! It is essentially a soft and flat galette stuffed with smoked salmon, red onions, capers and dill cream cheese.

LADY M – SIGNATURE MILLE CREPE
Lady M might be famous for their French Signature Mille Crepe (S$9+), but the brand actually originated from the Big Apple’s Upper East Side. Queues are a daily sight and we are unsurprised.
Having sampled Lady M desserts from both New York City and Singapore, we are thrilled that the signature mille crepe in Singapore is equally divine as its flagship store.

SAY BONS – NUTELLA & BANANA CREPE
Say Bons is no newcomer in Singapore’s creperie industry. In fact, we have been patronising the humble French eatery since our school days!
Crepes sold at Say Bons are extremely wallet-friendly and has proved that budget snacks can be scrumptious too. Each fragrant crepe is cooked to order and we recommend the delightfully soft nutella and banana crepe (S$4.20).
Various Locations
THE GREEN RABBIT – CHEESY TUNA CREPE
Tucked away in the basement of Orchard Central is a relatively unnoticeable store called The Green Rabbit. Admittedly, the Cheesy Tuna Crepe (S$5.50) we ordered looked unappealing and we were not expecting much. However, we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the tender savoury crepe turned out to be! Indeed, one should never judge a book by its cover.
