As total of 54 restaurants and 81 different outlets will be participating in this year’s Japanese Restaurant Week. It is the fourth year in Singapore, and is organised by Gurunavi Inc and the Japanese National Tourism Organisation.
Singapore’s Japanese Restaurant Week will take place from 19 November to 02 December 2015.
Showcasing the best of authentic Japanese food, the Japanese Restaurant Week pays homage to the wonderful cuisine. Food is always among the main reasons for tourists to flock to Japan, for Japanese food is often intricate, gorgeous, and comes in the most creative and impossible forms.
The main idea behind Japanese Restaurant Week in Singapore is to remind and to introduce Singaporeans to the amazing world of authentic Japanese cuisine – learn more about the ingredients used, cooking methods and symbolic meanings.
Many big names in the Japanese Restaurant scene in Singapore will be participating too, and some familiar names include Tsukada Nojo, Ramen Champion, Tonkichi and Hakata Ikkosha. For the full guide on the participating restaurants and their respective outlets, refer to the list here.
During the course of the event, Gurunavi will also be offering food tours to Japan as part of their efforts to spread the love of authentic Japanese fare. A total of 17 courses over four routes will feature food from Hokkaido, Niigata, Kyoto, Okinawa and more.
Now, that’s some information to find out and to look forward to, yes?
