It's a lovely list and I would love to try quite a few of them, thank you for writing about these :)

However, I'm rather baffled about the good reviews for Stateland Cafe. I've been there 2 or 3 times and I've gotten terrible service every time. Tried their Smores Waffle and while the toppings were fun and great, the waffle itself tasted bland, and had a cardboard-like texture.

A friend of mine has also seen them placing frozen red velvet waffles into the waffle maker, too... I find that completely defeats the purpose of having waffles at a cafe. If I wanted frozen waffles I would have just gone to the supermarket. Is there REALLY something I'm missing out on?
