I agree with Kam Wah Cafe having one of the best pineapple buns in HK. Just wanted to say that you missed hiking which is free and a great way to see a greener side of HK.

In the title above, you mentioned $290 but in the second paragraph is $284. I assume there’s error on second para?? Well, you can also use CouchSurfing for free accommodation and live like Hong Kong locals (provided you’re open to do that). Oh.. you forgot to mention in this post… which airline you flew with?

Nice article. But, assuming a tourist goes to HK for the first time, how can you miss out disneyland and ocean park? And technically it is not free to visit the rooftop at the peak because it is a package price inclusive on taking the tram. Cheers!

Hello! Transportation is actually included in the total amount. You can purchase a tourist pass for HKD 300 which includes 2 way airport express transfer + 3 days of unlimited MTR travel (http://www.mtr.com.hk/en/customer/tickets/travel_pass_ael.html) Returning of the pass will allow you to claim back HKD 50. Hence you only spend about HKD 250 / SGD 43 in total for transportation. As mentioned above, it is assumed that no shopping was done.

think you are missing out few things.. no need to spend on transport? and you did not mentioned which area of airbnb you can stay and is it convenient? the money you spent are mainly on food? Hongkong is a shopping heaven too.
