Dad’s favourite fruit would be oranges.

It has been almost 9 years that my dad has been based overseas working. Going places from Myanmar to Bangkok to China and attempting to sustain a business abroad. He’ll occasionally return once every few months but I barely remember the last time we sat down for a proper meal with my commitments and assignments at school taking up most of my time. I’ll be completing my tertiary education soon since it’s my last year and I am tentatively heading overseas to study after which, something which I periodically tell my dad just so he would return to Singapore to work rather so he could be with the family as a whole. just before I go. It’s pretty pathetic yet amusing that I’d wanna use this as an opportunity to spend Fathers’ Day with my dad but I guess I’ll just give it a shot?

I think dad’s an innate chef at heart, he enjoys cooking during his free time and mentions of his interest on reading asian cook books and cooking shows. Would be great if Cat Cora and him could exchange views on asian, western and other cuisines vice versa.

I hate to say it, but I think I miss my dad. So yup, hopeful that this Fathers’ Day might finally be a good one afterall.

My dad’s favourite fruit has to be persimmons (Sharon fruit), when it’s persimmons season, he’d go all out and buy it in bulk. As well as that, my father has an interest enjoying the pleasures in good food and in marine life, we have a massive pond back at home where he treats each and everyone of his fishes like one of his own. (Probably due to the fact that both his daughters, my sister and I, are studying overseas.) As a father’s day gift to him, I’d really like him to enjoy himself alongside with my mother to celebrate this special occasion, since my sister and I are not by his side.

My father’s favourite fruit is Durian.

Since young, my father has placed the family before himself. He ensured my sister and I have new clothes for the New Year when he wore his old clothes because we weren’t that well off. Moreover, being in the service industry meant that we don’t usually celebrate Father’s Day because of the irregular nature of his job.

I would like my father to enjoy this special day (however I’m still studying and not financially able yet) And the opportunity to meet a celebrity chef like Cat Cora would really seal the deal.

My Dad’s fav fruit is the durian. He is a very humble and hardworking Dad, always having the family in his considerations, big or small. He has been very thrifty, spending less and saving more so that the family can have what they want.

Hello there!

My father’s favourite fruit is the humble and simple longan/lychee. He is an easygoing man with simple needs, so he usually makes his favourite fruit drink out of canned fruits. He has been so supportive towards us and the family, never willing to spend much on himself but more on the people he love.

Hence, he has not had the luxury to experience dining at such a beautiful place with awesome food. I really want him to experience that.

I have not been able to express my appreciation for him and winning this and getting to meet the renowned chef and enjoy the wonderful ambience altogether would be a once in a lifetime experience. And my father totally deserves this on this special day!

DRAGON FRUIT is my dad’s favourite fruit!
My dad loves home cook meal, he home for dinner without failed for the past 30 years.
Daddy and all of us appreciate for the dinner personally done by Chef Cat Caro.
It definitely a memorable experience as Chef Cat Caro will be the 3rd ladies to cook for dad apart from grandma & mummy.
The most touching is we never expect to have the dining experience in such wonderful ocean view restaurant.

My dad’s favorite fruit… has to be everything. He buys all kinds of fruit and makes sure that we eat them after dinner every night.

Although my dad passed away more than a year ago, I would wish to win this for my mother as I like to turn this day into a celebration for not a loss, but because she deserve it and in replacement of dad, all the more we ( my siblings and I ) should pamper and shower her with our love.

I do heard of Cat Cora, she was amazing. My first occurence with her was on channel 5 on one of the cooking shows which i believe was Masterchef. With her skills at work and the venue among the ocean, it will be the ultimate experience for her.

She had never went to the new sea aquarium let alone these super expensive fancy restaurants that I can only dream about affording one day when I get into the working world.

So I could only try, to win this for her.

My dad has a few favourite fruits! One of which is durian! He never fail to buy his favourite fruit back for the family even though he became weaker day by day. Papa left us last year but he is forever in our hearts.

He had always been my pillar of support, being there for me whenever i needed someone. I felt really guilty when I didnt do well in school but he was very calm and never raised his voice at me but gave me morale support.

Would love to win this and bring him along if he is still around as he is a homely person and dont fancy heading out for meals and prefer home-cooked meals. He may not be phsyically with us but always in our hearts. Still ‘celebrate’ his birth dates and fathers day as its not easy to erase off the memories of how he brought us up and contributed to the family. Dinning at Ocean Restaurant located inside the S.E.A Aquarium is definitely a memorable and unforgettable water dinning experience! As I can imagine dinning with my family in a world’s largest oceanariums with impressive sea wildlife views from any angle.

The Most Selfless Man I know – My Dad. He is my role model, my friend, my supporter and my hero! My dad is a breadwinner and he works hard in his entire life, giving the best he can to the family. He encourages me with motivational messages and support me to give me the strength that I need!

Hello my name is Joshua Phillips and my fathers is Rick Phillips his favorite fruit is pineapple. I remember when I was still at home I would cut up pineapple for him every night since he could not do it him self. My father has always given so .much to me even after his car accident he’s continued to give. I want to give back to him finally and as an aspiring chef I work 65 to 70 hours a week on the line so I never have time for family like I used to. Dinner with Cat Cora would be a way for me to truly give my dad the experience of a lifetime the experience that I feel he gave me. I love my father very much and for the very thing that keeps us apart (food) to bring us together would be amazing. My father’s favourite fruit is durian. He always refuses our treats to go to restaurant for the past 39 fathers’ days , saying eating out is too expensive.
