This list is a bit outdated and for tourists –
none of these are considered the real top spots to eat by local Thai foodies. Unfortunately a bit of a curse to “make” lists like this as the dining and flavours become much more tourist-driven. Most of them are good-enough standard and easy to order in English. Go here if you like to eat surrounded by Singaporeans and Hong Kongers, but won’t be blown away at every dish

These entries are good for tourists. I think most regular Thais wouldn’t eat at these much, maybe T&K on a special occasion. I had some amazing food from my friend”s aunt who runs a restaurant out of her house in one of the maze-like neighborhoods in Rama 3. It’s truly hard to put “the best” label on any restaurant in Bangkok simply because they are so numerous. Many times best = pricy on these websites and really you are paying for air conditioning and no tuk tuk noise which if you are trying to avoid you came to the wrong city.

The Local is hugely disappointed. Everything tasted the same and smothered in overpowering herbs and spices. Nothing refine about it!

Hi, the address that you have listed for Krua Apsorn is incorrect. I used that address last time when I was in Bangkok and the taxi driver took me to the opposite direction of the National Library. Please double-check again. Thanks.
