We had a great time trying out some of your suggestions. Our favourite food in Ubud was at Mama’s Warung, off the main road. The Ayam Sambal Matah and Cum-cumi bumbu Bali was the best food we ate in Ubud at very low prices. Slow service but so worth the wait. Truly delicious. Thank you for your excellent website.

Nasi Ayam Kedawetan Ibu Mangku is the cheapest than all. I love this and I will to try this place again if I come to Bali next time. But not only Nasi Ayam Kedawetan Bu Mangku, Bebek bengil or bebek tepi sawah too it seems must be try. Thanks for your informations

Hi, i would like to recommend you Puteri Minang Padang Food restaurant, i went there like 4 days ago when in Ubud, and it’s just very authentic indonesian dishes and excellent local foods. Compared to any other local dishes and any other padang restaurant in Ubud, i think this is the best. I also see the good reviews from the tripadvisor.

We were at Ibu Oka last week (19th Nov 25)?the Babi Guling got nothing to shout about?the skin was not crispy?so hard to bite?meat is so so only. Not worth trying maybe others could be better.

I’d highly recommend looking into Restaurant Locavore. It had just opened when I went there about 14 or so months ago and it was fantastic.

we had incredibly delicious grilled tuna dishes at 3 monkeys and cafe wayan. the spinach with mushrooms at cafe wayan was absolutely divine, with the portions being really generous.

Went to dirty duck yesterday and its nothing to brag about. In fact its a MUST TO AVOID. If you are staying in Ubud and have nothing to eat then try it, otherwise its not worth the trip and not worth wasting a meal. Its also outrageously expensive for what you get.

We tried ibu okan today and very overrated. Portions are small and food is OK.

I do Agree with AMANDA. Dirty Duck is popular nothing. I thought it was only the duck , but I found the other dishes not as good as they said too unworthy! Considered I drove away from Denpasar City to Ubud for it.
But Seniman Coffee studio really entertain me , I love the place

I’m sorry but I have to disagree with you on Dirty Duck. Yes it’s popular with tourists but that’s just it. I found the duck dry and service wanting more.
You should try the Bebek betutu at The Pond, a restaurant just a stones throw away fr that tourist trap. It’s quieter, service is sharper and the duck is what it’s suppose to be – crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. And while you’re there, try their ribs. Mouthwatering!
