I lived in Singapore for 5 years. A must do for local food is Newton Circus! Zouk is a great bar, Raffles Hotel is also a most see. High tea there is what I imagined it to be in the Colonial days.

Brad, Im happy to know that you appreciate Sinagpore so much! Nowadays, it is almost a gem to find Singaporeans who are appreciative of what they have. More often that not do I hear complains from Singaporeans about the country. I have to say we Singaporeans are a fortunate lot. There are many bonus points about Singapore that other countries lack of- efficiency, cleanliness, safety and not to forget, a food haven. I could vouch for this because I have been staying in the United Kingdom for a few years. Many foreigners who have been to Singapore actually sang praises to me how much they love our nation. If only our fellow homemates could be more appreciative of what they have.
