Romantic Restaurants with Best Views in Singapore

Singapore Restaurants with Best View

Eating is a national hobby in Singapore. It goes without saying that we have many fantastic restaurants. When it comes to eating out, I have two preferred kinds of restaurants. The first is just about food. Service and ambience are not important so long they give me good food.

And of course, the other is all about the ambience. Everyone should spoil themselves a little by celebrating a special occasion in a romantic restaurant. You know, the kind of place where you can bring your partner for a nice date, and have a wonderful dining experience. Luckily for us, there are many romantic restaurants in Singapore with good ambience and view.

Here’s a list of Singapore’s top restaurants with the best romantic views:

KFC Breakfast: Introducing the a.m. Blueberry Pancakes

Advertorial
KFC a.m Family Feast

I was very excited when I first heard that KFC Singapore has a new inclusion in their breakfast menu – a.m. Blueberry Pancakes. After trying them at a recent tasting, I have to say that they are undeniably sogood!

Besides the blueberry pancakes, I love the new KFC a.m. Family Feast, which was also recently introduced. Designed for a family of 4, the breakfast meal comprises two sets of a.m. Blueberry Pancakes with Hash Brown, one set of a.m. Platter, one a.m. Twister (Original Recipe), two coffee/tea, and two hot milo — all for just $19.90!

Sweets Garibaldi: New Cake Shop in Singapore

Sweets Garibaldi

Note: Sweets Garibaldi is no longer in operations.

Let’s be honest, the now-defunct haute Italian confectionery DeSte was a flop. Whilst I admired its concept of extravagant, one-of-a-kind creations; the market just wasn’t ready for it. The price point was too high, and few would splurge so much on fanciful cakes.

Garibaldi Group replaced it with Sweets Garibaldi at Mandarin Gallery, which is in a totally different league from DeSte. With prices starting from $4.50 for a slice to $28 for a whole cake, it is evident that the newly launched dessert boutique is after the mass-market.

Ban Tong Seafood Tze Char Restaurant Clementi

Ban Tong Seafood

Clementi has lots of good food. Besides the newly opened Clementi Mall, there is also the popular Clementi Food Centre and various coffee shops.

I recently had Tze Char at Ban Tong Seafood restaurant at Clementi ave 5, which is a few minutes walk from the train station. The food is generally good, and prices are what you’d expect from a typical tze char place.

Shin Kushiya: Where to eat in Vivocity

Shin Kushiya Singapore

There are many restaurants in Vivocity, but I always find it hard to decide on what to eat. I’ve announced on twitter that I wanted to try all the Vivo City restaurants, so as to do a guide on where to eat in Vivocity.

My friend was craving for sushi and sashimi that day, so we settled on a Japanese Restaurant for lunch. Shin Kushiya Japanese Charcoal Grill has been around since 2006, and they currently have four outlets in Singapore: Serangoon Gardens, Suntec City, Far East Square and Vivocity.

Sentosa Boardwalk Crab & Durian Buffet

Sentosa Boardwalk Crab Buffet

The new Sentosa Boardwalk is a great way to travel to Sentosa on foot. Featuring tropical landscapes, the garden-themed boardwalk has a stunning view of the bay as you take a leisure stroll from VivoCity Shopping Mall’s waterfront promenade, made easy by two-way canopy-covered travellators.

From 9th to 26th Jun 2011, Sentosa Boardwalk has a Crab and Durian Buffet for $38++/pax. I think that this is a value-for-money buffet, especially so if you like crabs and durian.
