@Vivian You are going to love Paris and London, the two cities have amazing cakes. Hmm, I don’t really have an itinerary for Paris and London. In Paris, we went to random places, I love getting lost there! heh As for London, I only had 3D2N so I didn’t get to try many places to do a proper guide.

@Vivian: Hello there! It’s really quite difficult to find “affordable food” because everything is expensive there! I was on a dessert hunt so I’d definitely recommend going to Cafe Angelina for the best hot chocolate and Mont Blanc, and Pierre Herme for macarons of course.

Do check out the St Germaine area, it has many lovely restaurants.

well, there are several hummingbird bakery outlets if you are so keen to try them. i dont think the red velvet cupcakes are that fantastic though.

try the scones at beas of bloomsbury (http://www.beasofbloomsbury.com/), roast duck at gold mine, burgers at hache (http://www.hacheburgers.com/), crepes at kensington creperie.. and of course borough market at london bridge tube station.

sightseeing wise, portobello market is good. camden is better. and there’s always the touristy stuff like big ben, westminster, buckingham palace, hyde park, oxford street.

Oh ya you also need to try korean restaurant near tottenham court road tube station. If I’m not mistaken the restaurant name is ASSA. its very good. but the queue is quite long for dinner time so better bet there early.

Hi Brad,

When u go to London you must visit Four Season Restaurant in Chinatown, which is very famous for the roast duck (be prepared for long queue at peak hour).

Pattiserie valerie at covent garden and hummingbird cupcake at south kengsinton are also a good place for dessert.

Oh yes, and the very raved about Hummingbird Bakery (portobello street) famous worldwide for cupcakes. Long queue though.

Paris was amazing for me too! Went there 4 years ago. You MUST try the duck confit in Paris restaurants. I came back to spore and could find no substitue for that. London is one of my favorites. Check out portobello market (biggest street for antiques and vintage). There is a very good Chinese restaurant there(can’t rem the name though). Also check out Covent Garden (fashion there is great, night life abound). that’s all;)

Borough Market in London is a must! – http://www.boroughmarket.org.uk/ and I wanted to visit Hummingbird bakery – http://hummingbirdbakery.com/ but didn’t get a chance. Would love to see some reviews from Hummingbird if you get a chance to visit
