Overpriced @ $297 for two people for the evening. The 1kg Black Angus rib was disappointing; and I was looking forward to it after reading about it at ieatishootipost.sg. It suffered from a distinct lack of flavour; progressively worse towards the bone. Meat colour moved from pale to pink to red; was also surprised to see it cut for presentation. My partner ordered the house mash which also accompanied the rib; both were dry and lacking a creamy smoothness. Although intimate and cosy; we felt as if our eating prowess was on display as three waitstaff watched us throughtout the entire meal - the often lack of English understanding was a slight annoyance. The verdict, better meals (especially steaks) are available right here in Brisbane, Aust for a fraction of the price. In future I will leave the "Aussie cuisine" for home and search beyond Graze at Martin 38 for a fine dining experience in Singapore.
